Get off the soapbox... This has nothing to do with not reading the terms... I knew it would auto renew... What I (and thousands of iothers) didn't know is that this site is a complete scam and there would be NO value in it. We believed it was a legitimate site to find a roommate which it's not... Then takes forever to get out.
Completely dishonest thieves. No one responded me who I contacted for a room, which is why I only wanted a three day subscription. Instead, I was tricked into a 29.95 subscription, which I did not authorize. Perhaps Channel 2 on your side or a similar channel would like to do an expose' on these scammers?
I had a similar experience as Peggy V., but in my case they actually reactivated my account to charge me the money because I told them their site was worthless and stupid (because it is).
Terrible!
I'm sorry that it sucked so much. =/ Sometimes sites prey on those who are just looking for an honest website. =( I was wondering Maybe you should post it in the forums with other similar sites so that way we can all get the good and bad all in one place and save others and ourselves the trouble: D

Absolute crooks... no doubt.
Does anyone actually read the Terms and Conditions before complaining about the auto-renewal policy? Obviously not. Definitely a sign of poor education in this country if people can't comprehend a paragraph longer than 3 sentences or less than 20 point font!
