They are a legitimate company, but they do not have a refund policy and do not notify customers of automatic renewals.

Quite legit, but they have complicated rules that they never bother to tell you. I learned too late that multi-month plans cannot skip a month (what if you're away?) and free items are usually only when you upgrade. Now they are running $5 off andI I have to see that coupon every time I open the website...but it's only for newcomers. Streaks seem worthless and Japan Haul points cannot be doubled up. Too many complicated rules that get lost in translation.

Both - they'll send you product but scam you with their subscription policy. Not worth it

I have a 12 month subscription Dec 2022 began really well very fast delivery for this and the January box. Since delivery is horrendous (as of June 20 still waiting for my May 2023 box sent supposedly 15 may.) You get told to contact Australia Post (whom they use in Australia) and Australia Post says contact the sender (Tokyo Treat is the parent company of Sakuraco and several other boxes all seem to have similar issues).
The last box I receive April 2023 arrived just under 4our weeks. Items were stale even with the silica gel in it, and I know this having been to Japan and eaten fresh products. The gift items of table ware vary so greatly, mostly very poor quality and branded with the Sukuraco logo. Not really what I want to be eating off or using when friend come.
Be warned too that the price you will see on your invoice IS NOT WHAT YOU WILL BE BILLED! EXCHANGE RATES and you never seem to win!

Customer support what customer support? I wore a post in the forum for members on subscriptions asking other Australians how there deliveries were. I was advised my post would be removed as it was my personal opinion! Seems to have been left on forum now as other Australians have also responded saying how bad it is.
Be very aware that YOU have to make sure you talk to your bank or stop payment to the account because they do nOT advise you when your subscription will be renewed (usually a month before it seems your subscription is due) auto renewals are actually illegal in Australia. I believe so feel our legal and banking process will assist here.
GO TO BOKSHU instead and no I have not as I still have subscription until November. Read very positive comments of other dissatisfied Sakuraco customers who have gone to them. DONT BUY FROM SAKURACO.
