Did they know in advance that you had lung cancer so that they could be prepared for any special circumstances that may arise ?

Yes they knew and they said it was not an issue. I also asked for a non smoking roommate and my roommate smoked like a freight train. That was remedied though when they put me into precipitative withdrawal because they hid me away in a private room. Once the PWD was under control they attempted to move me back to a shared room and I said fine as long as it was with a non smoker. They couldn't find a female non smoker. Another issue was I had asked them during repeated phone calls and emails before I admitted myself if there was an outside area where I could go during down time to read it meditate or just get some sunshine and they told me there were several outdoor areas. Turns out there was ONE outdoor area where all the smokers hung out all day and all night. The detox also advertises "healthy gourmet meals and nutritious snacks". We had burritos, pizza, frozen fried chicken as entrees... the online snacks available were ice cream and jello cups and from the snack machine there were candy bars and chips. It was ridiculous. I didn't see a piece of fresh fruit or a vegetable for a week. I get it's a detox and not a resort but don't advertise things that just aren't reality... especially saying you can detox a person from a medication in 7 days safely when it's so far from the truth that it's dangerous. It's almost a year later and I'm STILL weaning off this medication and I'm STILL suffering the effects of what they caused i. E ulcerative colitis and orthostatic hypotension. I have not forgotten what they did but because of my health I don't have the energy or time to deal with a law suit. I have attorneys who have read my reviews chomping at the bit to sue this disgusting excuse for a detox. The problem is they want to sue for lots and lots of money and that would take lots and lots of time and energy that I don't have. All I wanted was a refund. Until I get that refund I will continue to post HONEST reviews of this place on whatever sites I can. They can stop it all by giving me my money back so I can use it to replace the money I took out of my savings to pay medical bills from conditions they caused. Until then... my plight continues. Spread the word and keep your loved ones away from this death place.
