Would there be a way to go over prices to sell items sent to you to sell BEFORE sending them and finding out it is not an acceptable price? I have all new with tag, higher end girls clothes and shoes, slippers, etc. Seems like a waste of your time and my money and yours too, if I send a box only to find that they won't be sold at a decent price.

There's no way for them to go over prices. They have to see the items and determine from going over it, if it's acceptable, once it's accepted, then you have to determine the price you want to sell it for. You could try searching on their site for similar items and see what they are priced at. I did notice when pricing my items that I'd get a little notice with recommended prices, which was very helpful. I didn't have a good experience selling but many others have. Make sure you take pictures of your items, that's very important. I appreciated that their site is set up to allow you to take back your items if you changed your mind about selling them. I'm in the process of getting back my items. Hopefully it works out well and I get all my items back.

I have really bad experience with selling. My items were sold. But I can't get any money because there is some kind of inbound fee... This is on top of what they deducted for their commision. Also many cloth items I send were brand new. I had to donate them because they wont accept it, ad I did not want to spend for return labeling.
Purchase department is fine. However, I feel like I was scammed in the selling department. I will never use this site again. Sorry, Swap, you lost a good customer.

I price my things by looking at how similar items are priced. I also take into consideration how many times worn (or never worn) and I price to recoup dry cleaning costs. If it's a higher end brand I price it higher. I generally start off with a higher price and then lower in a month or two.

In that almost all stores offer 40-50% off their inventory at least once a year, people are looking for exceptional values if they are shopping on swap.com. If I am selling items that are new with tags, I ask for about 25% of the original price. Everything else, about 20% of the original price.
I study what seems to sell best on the site, as well as what items I am selling that people make swap offers on. (You seriously are bombarded by a lot of low ballers, but still the fact that 371 swap offers were made in 24 hours on 4 of the items I listed was invaluable information to me!) I quickly increased their prices and made a nice profit.
Basically, people, including me, want clothes that look new for great prices. I actually find that they are not strict enough in inspecting the clothes. I do not hesitate to return any items that show wear or are below my expectations: the returns on these items are free, as they should be.
I hope that helps!

Don't know about high end pricing. I hve two bags of stuff to send nd it can all be priced at their lowest of $3.00 and item. Better than donating to good will or a consignment shop, I think.
