Hi Peggy. If you receive a device that is not as advertised then you can return it for a refund. Our policy is that simple. Swappa staff works hard to prevent problems from happening, and PayPal has extensive buyer protections in case they do. Buy with confidence. Thanks for using Swappa.

I am going through this right now. Paid for a mint phone and received a banged up phone. Swappa is telling me to resolve the issue by contacting the seller as swappa is not the "middleman". Of course the seller is denying that he sent a phone covered in scratches. It's gonna take PayPal 30 days resolve the dispute. I'm out of $600 for another 30 days until this is resolved. I'm so disappointed.

Ben, Sorry that was not my experience at all. I received a "fixed" phone and it did not work out of the box. The seller said "it worked when we shipped it" and Swappa did not take my side at all. I felt ripped off and have not been back since.
