Hi there,

There's certainly no scams at play whatsoever with TopCashback, so I'm sorry to hear you've had a negative experience. This is never our aim. We pass across every penny of cashback a retailer awards us, back to our members. If you have had cashback decline, this decision would have been made by the retailer in question and would mean that either your purchase did not meet their terms and conditions or that they were unable to identify TopCashback as the referrer of your sale. Either way if you wanted any further clarification, please feel free to get in touch with us over a support ticket or through our various social media channels and we'd be more than happy to take a look into your account and hopefully be able to shed some more light on the problem.

Best wishes,
Patrick

You are correct. The topcashback scam is pay on the small transaction. Reel the sucker in. The sucker makes a big purchase and all of a sudden, it doesn't track, even though it was done exactly the same way. Customer complains. Customer service blames customer with a form response detailing how it was the customers fault even though it worked fine on the small transactions with the same merchant, computer, browser, an the fact none of the legitimate cashback sites had a problem tracking with that merchant.

So they pay "the highest rate" on the small transaction nd 0% on the big ones. Giving them an effective payout of well below the legitimate sites.

Then they also claim they never got a kickback from the merchant and when asked for proof (email from the vender, etc) they refuse to offer anything.

Please some attorney needs to file a class action against this scammy company so they're forced to open the books during Discovery and reveal they have been pocketing our kickbacks for years to keep paying their idiotic, overpaid customer service agents.

No. TopCashback is not a scam site. It is just a 'don't give a sucker an even break' site.

I bought some liquor at Total Wine & More, going through TopCashBack, in early March. 6 months later, after multiple back and forths, see this absolute disgrace of an answer TCB gave to get out of paying me:

Hi there,

Unfortunately in this case the retailer has awarded the commission (cashback) for your sale to another affiliate. These other affiliates can include rival cashback portals, comparison sites or even a simple click on a Google ad. This has resulted in the tracking cookie not linking back to TopCashback.

We are not denying that you clicked-through to make the purchase from your TopCashback account, but certain aspects can have a negative effect on your transaction tracking and TopCashback not being recognized as the 'last referrer' of the sale. Reasons for a retailer making this decision can include:

-If your computer cookies were not cleared before making a transaction

-Another website, cashback portal, pop-up advertisement, search engine or comparison site may have linked to your transaction

-Coupon codes which are not advertised by TopCashback.

-Using ad-blockers on your browser

These are only suggestions, however, as the retailer does not advise us which of these is applicable in your particular case.

As this is the retailer's final decision, I'm afraid this isn't something we can dispute further.

For any future purchases we'd recommend to clear cookies prior to logging-in to your account and avoid the use of coupons unless you see the code posted on our site.

We hope any further transactions are more successful for you.

Best wishes,
