Why does Trulia management allow it's sales staff to lie to Realtors about what they are being sold all the time?

Remember these are SALES staff, they will lie to get your business and they couldn't care less what happens after they get their commission. Do NOT fall for Trulia's lies to Realtors- learn from my very expensive mistake! You will get nothing except poorer.

They are intentionally vague, and cite they are only providing "impressions" of us, and not leads. The BBB in San Francisco (previous headquarters before Colorado), gives good advice about businesses like these: have emailed answers about your purchases, and ask specifically what to expect. They will try to get you to talk on the phone, instead, and that is where much misunderstanding occurs in my view. So have them spell it out in an email, make sure expectations are indeed as suggested, and don't purchase if everything isn't crystal clear. Don't be surprised if they won't do the email correspondence. Also, read the new Zillow "Terms of Use"--doesn't read like a company I would do business with now.
