We have had exactly the same experience. A terrible company that I would never use again or recommend to anyone. Our washing machine broke down and they sent an engineer to look at it pretty quickly and charged us the initial call out fee. He specified a faulty part as the problem and said he would get the office to order to part at which point another engineer would come out and fit the replacement part. After weeks of chasing and after taking our money for a replacement part (which having done our own research we discovered they charged more than double for than the actual cost of the part) that never arrived we have had to get someone else in to finish the job. They agreed to refund the money for the part that we never benefited from but again nearly six weeks later we still haven't had the refund and we are chasing constantly while they are doing their absolute utmost to avoid us.

They are an appalling company that prey on people who are desperate to get a fairly fundamental household tool fixed quickly. As such they charge an extortionate amount of money which is nowhere near comparable to the level of service they provide.

I would never use this company or associated companies ever again!
Our Bosch washing machine broke down just a few days before we were due to fly out of the country for a 2-week holiday (Kept tripping out the house electricity supply). We booked an engineer visit for 31st July 2014 and my wife waited in all afternoon for the engineer who finally turned up at 6:30 pm. An hour later he had successfully identified a faulty heater element, but did not have the appropriate replacement part. He then left us with a partially dismantled machine saying "The office will be in touch with a quote for the spare and to arrange to complete the repair". As our need for a repair was time critical we asked how long we could expect to wait he said "If the part is in stock we should be able to get it within 5-days".

Subsequently we heard nothing at all from 'the office' and have had to phone their call centre to find our what was happening with our repair. The call centre initially told us on 1st August (After a 20 minute wait on an 0844 number) that they were awaiting the engineer's work sheet and could do nothing until they received that. When we said that was unacceptable they asked us to write to them at *******@therepaircompany.biz to which we received an automatic reply saying our enquiry would be dealt with within 72 Hours! I chased again on 2nd August and was told again(this time after a 1 hour wait on 0844) that "We are awaiting the engineer's worksheet...". They had no details about our job on their system at all relating to the model number, nature of fault, estimated repair time etc. Eventually they took the details of our washing machine model number and said they would order the necessary part and promised to phone my son (who is home after breaking his leg) on Monday 4th August to arrange a repair date. I hope they have the decency to follow up on this promise having failed us so badly so far!
