To call 9News a "news organization" would be an insult to modern news. 9News openly lies about the sources of their information, misrepresents facts, and tries to create outrage and concern as a way to generate interest in their coverage. Factually, they misrepresented an in-development game as a "Grand Theft Auto" game set in Adelaide where players are able to harm people in the game. The actual game being covered does not feature any violence in it and is merely a way to drive and walk through the city. They also claimed that they reached out to the developer and received no comment, but the developer had multiple calls and text message conversations with the news team, giving them all of the information they would need to fix the blatant issues with the news piece before it aired. I would highly recommend anyone looking for news in Australia to consider another news organization since this one doesn't seem interested in reporting facts; they are only interested in hit pieces and slander.
