I am EXTREMELY dissatisfied with the service I have received from Defenders. The customer service person I spoke to just now even hung up on me when he didn't want to handle my concerns. My alarm system keeps going off for absolutely no reason. I've had techs come to my home already and they can't seem to fix the problem for good. I want my money back since I've had the system 5 weeks with 3 false alarms. I'm being told to look at a contract. Well I definitely didn't sign up for a system that keeps failing me! I want my money back and I want the system out of my house! It doesn't work!

ADT pulse was just installed in my home and here is the breakdown of the price for those of you who are doing the same thing. No install fees and you get 4 door sensors, 1 motion controller and 1 cell tower unit, with a remote control arming unit all for free if you sign a 2 year contract. You do need to pay 99 bucks for the cell guard unit if you do not have a land line in your home. The montly fee comes to $50/month or thereabouts. It does give you remote ability to control the in home alarm system. Everything works smoothly and I cant complain as I got a quote from a local alarm company that would cost $1200 for the same equipment but at a monthly fee of $25/month rather than $50. ADT pulse plans on keeping me at $50/month but I was told if you just call and cancel after your conract is over they can lower your rate to $35/month. The equipment that is install is just made by Honeywell and I bet any alarm company could connect with it. Good value but after 2 years the montly fee is way to high, thus I am giving it 3 stars.
