They promise "Your very own page on Wikipedia" and ask for payment first.
There are many different packages, and they will even give discounts.
Once the payment is made, they ask extra $ ($300 *5 fake articles) to fulfill the creditablity requirement of Wiki. I was stunned. If I knew this I wouldn't even start. They are not even giving me refund.
I didn't file a charge back to my credit company because I felt I was mistaken too.
American Wiki Specialist is scamming people with hidden fee.
Just get avoid of this scam. I was naive.

Beware and Becarful with you information. This company is a SCAM! They will drive you into a payment and walk you through the steps and never get the job done. Once they ask and draft your Wikipedia Content on Word Doc they will send you that its refused by Wikipedia due to no content or articles and request more money and if you deny payment they will refuse the refund and say that refund is not valid as they started the draft already!

American Wiki Specialist is one of the sites that I return to repeatedly. The wide variety of topics, detailed images, step-by-step instructions, and videos are all helpful. For all of my "how-to" questions, no matter the topic, I know I can trust American Wiki Specialist, the amazing community that helps to update and edit the site. I absolutely love wikiHow. There is SO much incredible content, and it always feels like someone really kind is talking to me on the other end. 10/10 recommend!

As a university professor, I signed a contract with Wikispecialist last year, paying them over $1,199 for a Wiki page. After 3 months, I received a two-page, unprofessional draft with minimal references; I took the initiative to edit and expand it into a four-page professional page with over 25 references. After waiting another 3 months, they mentioned that the Wikipedia moderator rejected the draft.
The person use "*******@americanwikispecialist.com" email address but introduced himself as "My name is Brad Anderson, your Project Manager." and signed as below on the emails:

After I complained about their service, they introduced another specialist namely "Henry Parker" who signed as below on the emails "*******@americanwikispecialist.com":

He asked for an additional $1,700 (Which I paid the first $1000) for a research story, and to date, I haven't received the promised Wikipedia page or the research background story.
My experience raises concerns about the legitimacy of Wikispecialist's services, and I would caution others to be wary, as it appears they may be operating as a scam.

I wish there were more honest reviews surrounding this company. I'm currently on hold waiting to talk to my credit card company and filing a complaint with the BBB - this is not an actual company, just a pyramid scheme. They pass you around from person to person that pushes you with sales tactics and lies to you to get more money. Horrible experience and created so much anxiety around something that should have been fun.

Major scam. First, I encourage you to look at all of the one star reviews on Google and Trust Pilot. Yes, there are positive reviews - I have determined most of those are fake. If you look at the profiles of the people who left 5 star reviews, it is obvious they are fake. My story: Jasmine Scott reached out to me on LinkedIn. She offered me a steep discount to get my company page listed on Wikipedia for $500. I paid it. After paying it, they did an audit (did not tell me this would happen) and told me I would need to pay another $1,000 to get professional articles published to get on Wikipedia. I paid the $1,000. It has been three months and no progress has been made. My representative, Henry Parker, has disappeared. Jasmine Scott has become unresponsive. The phone number on their website is down. I have sent their main support email several tickets with no reply. Their website now says "not taking new clients." I was scammed of $1,500. My hope is that this review prevents others from doing business with this company and saves them precious time and money.

Just faking to provide wikipedia service, paid them but never heard back, had to report it to my bank they just want your money
