Thank you for getting flowers delivered to my mother for Mother's Day. I was happy that they got delivered before Mother's Day but I would have understood if they arrived later. During these crazy times I am sure you have alot of problems you probally never thought off. I appreciate that you display your Covid policy right up front on your website and had option to cancel or even modify order. I hope all your wonderful staff are safe and god bless you all.

I ordered a winter bouquet (for $85.82 with tax and fees) that was made of florist selected flowers. The example bouquet on the website was beautiful. What my friend received was far worse than the ugliest Walmart bouquet. After complaining, Avas issued me a 20 percent discount on the price of the bouquet, but this did not include the extra fees which are outrageous. I was burned - avoid this company.

I ordered a beautiful bouquet of flowers with a balloon for my sister who was in the hospital. An $80 bunch! They delivered the sorriest handful of flowers I ever saw! NO BALLOON! They said they would NOT replace them but DID offer a $15 refund. Here's what was delivered! DISGUSTING!

Tip for consumers:
It was supposed to be same day delivery and it wasnt until 2 days later. TERRIBLE FLOWER DELIVERY SERVICE!!! DO NOT USE AVAS FLOWERS!!!

I wanted to send a nice arrangement of flowers to an old friend who I fell out of touch with.The address I had was from when I last got in touch with him, I guess that was over 30 years ago.

I gave them that address.

A day later I received a phone call from the company saying that they needed an alternate address because the person no longer lived at the address I gave them. I told them that it was their job to figure where he lived now and get the flowers to him.

I bought some sympathy flowers to be delivered and I paid for same day delivery. They took the money in my debit card and not even an hour later, they sent me an email saying that the bouquet was not available, and they wanted me to choose some cheap Orchids to replace it and it would be delivered the next day. When I called customer service, it was impossible to get a live agent. I can honestly say that i had a crazy morning trying to get in touch with them. I will never buy anything from Avas Flowers again

I ordered flowers that never got delivered and they changed me for them. They say they didn't. My bank provided me proof that they did. I have turned it in to the BBB. Still they won't give me my money back. Be aware if you place an order with them. They are not a good company. Very dishonest. Never will I order from this place again.

I put this comment on their facebook messenger and I representative immediately reached out. She was glad I contacted her and assured me that they would look into the problem I had. She also offered to send some flowers no charge (but it's not why I complained so I declined). This rep was sincere and did appreciate I brought it to her/his attention. I would now change my stars to a 4!

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. They imply they are a local florist but they are not! Below is my story:

My brother in law passed away and his viewing is Sunday (and that's when I wanted it delivered). I placed an order for flowers on Friday. This morning I get a call telling me nobody is at the church where the viewing is going to be held. I said I knew that that's why I wanted it delivered on the day of the viewing. Hours later I got another phone call telling me they're having a problem. On the phone they said the designer cannot deliver it to a church (what?) and wanted an alternative address (which is ridiculous!)! I do not want a bouquet of flowers delivered to someone in bereavement only to carry it themselves to the viewing.

I was a VP for Macy's Dept store so I wanted a resolution. When I asked for a corporate contact I was told by the CS rep, that she couldn't give it to me.

I received an email when I canceled it saying that the product was out of stock so now I guess they even lied to me! They made a very difficult time more difficult!

Updated review after speaking to a rep at a higher level. If you have a problem reach out using FB messenger- you will get a response.

Placed order on Friday and was guaranteed delivery on Saturday. Still not delivered by following Wednesday. Durning the 5 days of delays I spent literally over an hour on the phone, mostly on hold, making multiple calls trying to get updates. Durning this time I received at least 10 survey requests via email and text. Each person I spoke to was nice but could not help. Also originally charged a $50 "service fee' but the person I spoke with gave me his personal discount, so only $25 on top of the free delivery? I did finally get a refund. Again, worst experience ever for a simple flower order.

The one dozen roses I had delivered to my girlfriend looked spectacular to me at first. Then I noticed that one rose seemed to be just a bit shorter than all the others.

At first I though that this was no big deal but the more I looked at it the more it bothered me, it just threw the whole arrangement off. Did they ever hear of a ruler.

I decided to take all the roses out of the vase and measure them and sure enough there was a much a 1/2 inch difference on the length of the stems. This is surely bad quality control and the person cutting the flowers should be reprimanded.

Birthday arrangement delivered 2 days late. Left in Backyard without notice. Contacted customer service three times. Not Deluxe (like I ordered) or attractively designed. They charged me $110 for this!

I ordered a beautiful arrangement called Dreaming of Tuscany. Was called by a person from Avas that some of the flowers in the arrangement were not available. She said she could substitute roses in place of the flowers that were unavailable at no extra charge. I asked if the arrangement would still be as seen in the picture but with roses. She said it would be like the picture. My friend received the flowers that I sent and it was a dozen roses in a glass vase with very little water. It looked like i went to a grocery market and bought roses and stuck them in a vase. For this I was charged $81.00. It did not look like it came from a florist. I was embarrassed that my friend received this from me after a serious surgery. I will NEVER order from them again!

Tip for consumers:
I was on the phone with customer service about my disappointment with the arrangement that was sent. He first offered me 30% off. I continued to tell him that what was sent was not what I paid for. He then offered 70% off. I told him I wanted a full refund. He put me on hold for a long time then came back and said I would get a full refund. Waiting to see if that will happen!

The flowers are not what I ordered at all for all the money I spent. Looks like I went to a food store and put flowers in a box for my employee. No fillers, no baby breaths, no vase, or anything. There is no customer service. I have been calling for 10 days to complain with a "high call volume" to hang up on me. Please, Please go to someone else so you won't be as embarrassed and disappointed as I am. The worst ever. (the vase is the employees) Does that look like $70?

I ordered flowers for my mother for Mothers Day on 5/7/23 to be delivered 5/14/23, paid for a rush delivery even though it was a week in advance and the flowers were never received. Never received any tracking information and was told multiple times by their worthless customer service line that my order was on the truck and out for delivery. Ruined mother's day and this company is absolutely worthless. Spend your money somewhere else.

Ordered an arrangement on September 18th and asked for delivery on September 20th. After several "Where's my Order" emails sent to company and finally a phone call, arrangement was received on September 25th. Very, very disappointed to say the least. Also resent the $25 service fee! Service fee for what? After I complained, they refunded 1/2 of the service fee. Will never do business with this company again. Beware of this company.

I ordered 2 big funeral flowers to be delivered to church before 9:30am in 6/28/23. This company never called or delivered the flowers. When I called they said they will deliver at some point. Are they for real! Do they know what death, funeral, burial means? They still haven't refunded my money. They must be over their head-. They are in the wrong business. They should call their business ' rip off no humanity '
I will not let this go.

Flowers were not red enough. I wanted a real deep red for the roses I ordered for my sweetheart.

While the flowers were undoubtedly red I was quite unhappy about the shade. My sweetie said red roses were red roses and I was being an *** by complaining about the shade. I called their service and complained about the shade of red, they said that I ordered red roses and I got red roses.

I had to except this but I was still and unhappy customer. They should provide exactly what the customer wants.

This company is a scam. I ordered flowers, a balloon and wrote a note for a friend that had a baby, I paid for it to be delivered the same day, and no delivery, no phone call, text or email to let me know it was going to be delayed. I called today to get an update and they claimed that they wouldn't even have it delivered until Saturday. Well, they will be gone from the hospital by then. Very aggravated because I had to call to find out about my order. NEVER USE THESE PEOPLE!

I ordered an arrangement for my mom for Valentine's Day 2023 and it never arrived. I contacted the company through their website and got an automated response saying they'd "look into it." I waited a week or two but there was no follow through. I tried contacting them again and it was the same story. Finally, I had to dispute the charge through American Express who reimbursed me and is investigating the charge. Bottom line: don't use Ava's Flowers. Order from a local company. One more thing: there is a $28 "service charge" so the listed price you see is quite deceiving. Your total will be quite a bit higher!

Do not order from Avas. They have slid totally downhill over the last several years. My husband was very upset when Avas sent a dozen of dead roses and left out an additional part of the oder ((box of chocolates). This isn't the first time Avas has disappointed customers with shoddy orders. Had I known my husband was going to order from them (it was his surprise for me) I would have told him "no, don't order from this place ever". Although I had to click a star rating, they deserve a minus 100.

I ordered 12 dozen roses and received 11 roses which did not come in until 4 in the afternoon. 2 days later the $86.40 in roses was wilting. I called them on Monday & they want to give me back $10.00! After letting them know I have not ordered flowers from anyone in over 20 years & they cannot fix that special day they said that the best they can do is to put $30.00 back on my card. The 5th day they were completely dead!

Took my order promising that they can deliver by 2:00pm. They called back at 1:40 to tell me they would be missing the delivery window and offered a $15 discount. They then said they could not deliver at all that day and decided to cancel the order 20 minutes before the scheduled delivery. Customer service was not helpful and they just talked over me the whole time.
