Body By Finch

I've experienced the exact same appalling customer 'service' (more like auto reply) from Body by Finch. Like the other reviews, trying to get any sort of service is impossible. I signed up for the $15 trial back in May 2020, and chose to not renew, believing my account was closed/inactive. Now, 18 months later, they have debited my credit card $180 without my knowledge! I've had no correspondence from them in that time, nor have I used the app (long deleted from my phone). Don't try calling someone... there's no phone number. You have to rely on email, which takes several days to get a 'cut & paste' reply from. They said because I contacted them within 7 days of them debiting my account, I was eligible for a refund, but it would cost me $24.95 for them to process it! They charged me $24.95 to give me back money they had no right to take in the first place! Absolutely appalling. There are plenty of other Apps & programs out there that provide the same product but with actual service. Don't bother with this one.

Am I an idiot for forgetting my login information? Yes, definitely. But if you find yourself in the same, unfortunate circumstances, be warned! I have contacted this company many times to cancel my account, but am refused because I could not give the correct login credentials. They do not allow you to validate your account in any other way (security answers, other account info, etc.). Body by finch will continue to charge you. My credit card company has sent several requests that they stop the recurring charge, as they will not allow me to cancel my account (website boasts an account can be cancelled at anytime - no contracts). In addition, the charges are almost twice the amount as the monthly subscription fee. I do not know what else can be done at this point other than cancelling my credit card entirely.

They are happy to offer $15 specials of their yearly program to everyone in times of need during Covid 2020 lockdowns but then didn't have the decency to send out reminder emails to let people know they were going to direct debit $180 from their account. Some people of which are currently still without work and still in lockdowns in Victoria.
They had 25,000 people sign up to their program so were happy to make a cool $4.5 million dollars but were very black & white with their T&C's rather than have customer service & human decency and allow people to have their refunds especially those struggling financially.
And if you write in their community facebook group that you have requested a refund they immediately block you from the group.

DO NOT RECOMMEND this program or their products.
They portray that they are all about helping others but clearly are all about the dollars in their back pocket.
Wouldn't even give them 1 star.
