Care Guard

I am now I debt thousands of dollars. I have not had Careguard for even a year. Careguard receives $134,685.04 to cover medical expenses regarding my work injury. Cervical epidurals and trigger point injections. Careguard refuses to pay my doctor for his services. Careguard collects the money from my settlement and refuses to pay. I thought this was safe for my medical security and I regret this decision because I can't make an appointment to get my medications filled, because I now owe thousands to my physician.

Careguard has allowed me to terminate my Medicare set aside account. I terminated my contract on 11/17/2022 and was told I'd receive my check in 2 weeks. Well obviously I still haven't gotten my check, I'm not talking a bump change check, they owe me almost $25k. I've called numerous time to this lady Cathy *******125 and she just sends me to voicemail and won't return my call! THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.

The insurance isn't accepted anywhere. I have to pay out of pocket and hope for my money back! Unacceptable

This company is horrible! My husband settled his workers comp medical with Ametros financial not Care Guard back in February 2020. We have been trying to get Ametros to pay medical bills and they keep denying saying he is not set up in the system his case is sensitive and can only be handled by one area? It is now May 2023 and still no one returns calls I have been calling every other day begging for someone to call us! Worst company ever. They have over 700,000 of the settlements money that is supposed to be used for medical use and we have been paying out of pocket for everything. Ametros/ Careguard thief's! I would not recommend to anyone settling your case with Ametros they will deny you medical treatment needed and steal your money!

Let me tell you about careguard, which also goes under the name of ametros. This company is excellent. We recently had a problem with a difficult company, spin life. This went on for months. Ametros, or care guard is a company that looks over and handles settlements from worker comp, etc. the people at this company could not have been more helpful, especially a dme authorization specialist, lisa p. She was so professional and very much helpfull in being with us during this whole process. She was very helpful even when we were what we seemed to be at our wits end. She returned our phone calls in a timely manner and advised us in what to do next. Ametros or care guard should be proud to have a excellent employee like lisa! Thank you again

I had careguard for to many years at least 5,and I have to many complaints with then because they don't give a good services like before,now I make a complaint to CMS for all those delete with my CPAP SUPPLYS order from EAZEMED CIA,I need PHYSICAL THERAPY and nobody wanted give services if I don't pay at front,when they give me like 60 differents places around my zip code a few years ago and now they don''t have business with nobody what kind a company is this now,I still waiting for the letter from CMS with my complaints and solutions..
