I am NEVER going to sell any items to Childrens Orchard and highly recommend to anyone who reads this review not to sell or buy items from this store. First and foremost, it is a store trying to MAKE A PROFIT above all else. It is not comparable to the Goodwill or Salvation Army which are nonprofit so you know that the profit made on donated items actually benefit people. The incredibly small amount of money you will get from selling your childrens clothing, shoes and toys is so minimal that it is not worth the gas money to drive there. However, they resell items for at least 6 to 10 times what they pay you. If you are looking to buy inexpensive, high quality, used clothing for your children, consider shopping on Ebay, Craigslist, the Salvation Army or the Goodwill. You will get much better deals. Also, consider that giving your items to the Salvation Army or the Goodwill helps organizations that have a proven record of helping others plus you will get a tax credit. To conclude my review, I would like to add that the customer service is deplorable. Azusa (assistant manager) is rude, disrespectful and should not be in a customer facing role. The owners, Carol Mintz and Cindy Kehagiarias, are rarely at the store to oversee how their employees treat customers both buying and selling. My hope is that with enough online negative reviews, they wont be in business much longer.
