These people are scamming you out of a lot of dough...$1500 to be exact. They ask you to sign a contract which gives you 3 days to cancel... but, they don't let you into their "site" til 4 days later... nabbing you to pay up b/c you signed a contract. Guess what... you are doomed. Once you are in the site... you will have maybe a Total OF 25 AVAILABLE MEN. HUH? What a joke.

I agree that these people are a total scam, they tried to tell me oh you'd meet all of these great guys, they are screened. They play into your insecurities. Avoid these people at all costs total rip-off boardering on fraud.

It's a TOTAL waste of time! The people on the site are still playing games and I thought since it was a paid site with a background check members would be really wanting to date. Nope that is not the case. Don't waste your time go to a free on line dating service.

These folks are in competition for the worst of scammers. They hounded me for months, and I finally gave in. They play on the worst of one's fears and hopes!. Don't let them talk you into walking in the door. Really, take your money and flush it down the toilet... you'd be more satisfied.

Tell everyone. Get on craigslist and warn singles. Put theses people out of business!

Scam! I, too, got reeled into purchasing a membership with ConnectionsDating.com/Washington, DC back in March at a cost of nearly $3,000. That's after they tried to get me to purchase a lifelong membership which costs something close to $5,000. That, of course, should have been a tip-off as why would I need a lifelong membership? The whole idea of the thing is to find a lifetime partner and move on, right? So, since joining in March, I have yet to receive one email, one phone call, ANYTHING for my $3,000. Not only are there fewer prospects than one might suspect (especially considering the cost and the hype they give you), but half of those who are within the age limit you request are either not anyone you would choose to go out with or, even worse, the "best ones" are "inactive!" I have contacted Connections both through email and by phone and have been assured that if I were to try to sue them, they would not lose the suit (which makes you wonder how many have tried)! And they reiterate repeatedly the fact that I signed the contract and that is binding. To which I opined that the contract provides the client with no recourse should they find the membership unsatisfactory - you don't even get a trial period of any sort. No wonder why... Of the 4-5 men who have, apparently, shown some interest in my profile, one was nearly 20 years younger than me, and the others were just not what I am looking for. Those I have shown interest in have all either rejected me or have never responded one way or the other or, have, supposedly expressed an interest, but have never contacted me. This website is a shameless scam. If there is a way a group of us could get together to file a class action suit, that might just do the trick. But how we would go about doing that I'm not sure.

This dating website IS A SCAM! I joined in a very weak moment under the impression that there were thousands of available members, as many dollars as it cost to join. HA! Take this advice, do not join. Dork America.

I just want to warn people that this website is a scam. They called you in and bring in you and interview you and give you the impression that there is tons of singles on their websites that you would want to date and get you to sign their contract for a year for two thousand seven hundred dollars. When you finally go and check out the website after you paid you find out that there's only 15 people that you really care to talk to and all of them are just as disappointed and feel cheated and lied to like you. Be very careful and if in doubt ask them if you can run through their own list of eligible persons for you and see how many you would consider dating. For the price they charge is a rip off. Spread the word.
