Correos.es

The lack of service offered by Correos is beyond words. Xmas cards delivered here in Spain from overseas,, I am aware of over 20 sent from UK, Australia and the US,,, I received two. Same situation with birthday cards. Items ordered on ebay often are not delivered at the expense of person I have purchased from. I have had one item delivered 9 months after arriving in Spain. I still have an order held in Spanish customs for 6 months, additional taxes have been paid,, now they are demanding forms that my local Correos offices have never heard off. Their complaints system is a utter joke. Their FB contact service is simply not a service. I cannot put into words how shocking this postal service is,, speaking to our local community and our local post box provider it has become clear that my experience is widespread. Virtually all people I have spoken to no longer send birthday, and xmas cards,, I have joined this growing group as items I have sent are not delivered to the UK etc either. Whatever the reason for their shockingly poor delivery rate they need to pull their socks up. People are now using other agents such as DHL as at least their are professional and perform the job they have been paid to do.

Siempre pensé que PostNL era la peor empresa de mensajería del mundo, ¡pero Correos está compitiendo por ese honor! Compré una bolsa de algas online en Jamaica, primero estuvo esperando en Correos 17 días antes de que hicieran algo con ella. Luego recibí una carta que tenía que subir datos mientras ya tenían mi dirección de correo electrónico porque había preguntado sobre el paquete, así que demora innecesaria, pero inmediatamente les proporcioné todos los datos y la factura. El IVA sobre el valor total del envío + gastos de envío ya se había pagado a través de Etsy y el vendedor había enviado toda la información incluido el formulario fitosanitario con el envío. Entonces recibo una factura de Correos para pagar 56,47€ por un envío con un valor de 43,07€, con el comentario de que pueden destruir el envío y que luego te devolverán parte(!) de tu dinero. Y que para una bolsa de algas que en teoría podría llegar a las costas españolas, no hay nada que probar ni comprobar, ya tienen todos los datos y simplemente está todo pagado. Esto no es sólo fraude y estafa, sino también abuso de poder porque el paquete les llega a ellos y, por lo tanto, no tienes otra opción si quieres o no tratar con ellos. Desearía que pudieran demandar por un paquete de $43,07 y yo los demandaría. EVITE EN TODO MOMENTO ESTA EMPRESA, SON LADRONES Y ESTAFADORES!

My family sent me a parcel and it never arrived. Got a letter to pay customs even though it was a gift (ok whatever) but I have no way of paying. My wife has an Spanish NIE number but I do not. I cannot pay online and cannot register to pay online with no NIE. It said you can get information at the post office. I went and they did not know what to do and sent me to tax building. Tax building found my item but could not help and gave me an email. Had no response from the company after emailing. I have no way of paying this charge its crazy and I cannot contact this company as they have made it extremely difficult. If posting to Spain from UK ensure the recipient has an NIE. Reading other reviews it seems that Correos are pretty awful so good luck if you use them avoid if you can!
