The original vinyl I ordered was delivered poorly, it was put up against my garage door. I live with people who frequent that door and it ended up crushed underneath the door because nobody saw it. I emailed them explaining this asking for a new one and they sent one free of charge, no questions asked. The new one was delivered at the front door and in great condition! I'm very happy with my purchase.
I ordered a medium tshirt and they sent me an XL. I have contacted them FOUR TIMES. 3 on email and then i even tried tweeting at them. That tshirt was supposed to be a present for someone and now it doesn't even fit them. Do not buy from here because if the order is wrong, you will not get anyone helping you fix it. And apparently i'm not the only one in the reviews with this problem

A small business that tries to operate on a bigger scale. Repeatedly they claim to have holiday shopping deadlines for shipping and then when you purchase prior to those deadlines your order sits in limbo until you email them. Then suddenly your order is moving but the deadline has passed and now your order might not make it on time.
This is a repeated issue. It's also sad that John and Hank Green I believe have some ownership in this company, I would expect much better.
Every holiday they post the same things about shipping and then seem stupified about unexpected volume of orders...every year same times. This is a very poor reflection on management and leadership. But if you're a small business that says you can expect processing and shipping and delivery by certain dates, then I guess you need to either do what it takes to meet that, or stop advertising it altogether. Where are the days of false advertisement consequences?

If you order anything from DFTBA, you better hope it arrives and arrives intact. If it doesn't, you'll experience the worst customer service ever. It seems they no longer care about even responding to their customers. I have sent 4 messages, only one has received a response, where they asked a question. I responded to that immediately and have heard nothing since. DO NOT order from here unless for some reason, you don't actually care if you get the product.
My stuff came in one piece, but one of the posters was completely ruined.
Ordered a shirt from this site. The quality was terrible. The shirt was so thin. The print felt cheap. They do accept returns, but they will not refund shipping (which I can understand). However, they also expect me to pay the return shipping, which I don't understand since the quality problem is theirs. I expect a $32 shirt to be better than the shirts at Wal-Mart, not worse.

An influencer was selling their merch on this website and, being a fan, I purchased a couple of the pins. I purchased them on October 27. It didn't "ship out" until December 4 and there is still no indication whatsoever that I am going to get the product because the postal service is still waiting for the product! I understand Covid is going on, but this is ridiculous. I won't be purchasing from them again.
I want to be able to give a better review than this but I'm only able to say what I've experienced: the delays are horrendous. I preordered merch back in May or June of 2023 and the initial shipment was supposed to be sometime in September. There were delays on their end and they sent out an email alerting everyone to the delays and notifying that shipment was delayed to November. No big deal, thanks for the update. November came and went; I sent an email, they replied that shipment delays are extended to the end of December. Okay. It is now January 2024 and I haven't heard any updates on the shipment of my order. I'm moving and need to update my address at this point--here's hoping I get a better reply than simply "supply chain issues" and "delayed" again.
For what it's worth, they gave me a code for a discount on a future order--which is nice--however, I don't forsee myself ever ordering from them again.

Ordered some posters I needed to return. Emailed them and while it took a while to get a response, they refunded me and told me to keep the posters to compensate for the wait.
My items never showed up and no one will answer my emails(they have no phone number, convenient huh?). I'm going to have to report this as a fake business with my bank to get my money back. Don't waste your time and money, it's a scam.
Ordered a few items on the 8th Dec. Waited a little over 2 weeks before I sent them an email. No response. I then contacted the store, Kurzgesagt, I had ordered my items from, who told me they'd be in touch regarding the matter. Still not a word from them. It has now been 1 month and 1 week since I ordered my items and my 4th time contacting the store, but to no avail. This has been the most tedious online purchase I've ever made and it's all been a horrendous experience. Seeing other very similar comments on DFTBA, I'm not alone on this matter. They're a pure joke, stay away at all cost. If it was possible to give 0/5 stars, I definitely would.
I've had a problem or two, yes, but I've found the customer service to be exceptional.
I am a part of a pin subscription and have had only 2 problems. One pin I received was not of the best quality and another has gotten lost in transit. However, I have had both pins replaced without any issue and with fairly swift replies from customer service.
I don't know if its because they've improved over time or if it's a different faction of the company that I'm dealing with, but I have a very positive experience with the service.

No customer service whatsoever. Been trying to get a hold of them for days- no answer. I get that the holidays are busy, but not responding at all is no good. Letting the creators know what an issue this has been!
Ordered a mug that came in damaged twice. They didn't only replace it very fast but they were also vert nice about it! I've ordered some stuff in my life but this must be the best customer service I ever had. I definitely encourage everyone to order here, since they have some really cool stuff.
Ordered a package as a gift on July 20 for an early September birthday gift. Still haven't received it. When I contacted them in late August I was told to use my tracking number. It didn't work and I sent them a screenshot as proof. They're response was that the in fact don't use a tracking number for canada parcels. (I had one, made no sense). They told me to wait. I contacted them a week later and they emailed back telling me to contact my postal service with my tracking number (that still doesn't work) from the same person who told me that I don't have a tracking number in a previous email. I still don't have my parcel. I'll never purchase from them again.
Tip for consumers:
Be warned. I was dealt with as though someone just wanted to get to the end of their email load. They didn't read the chain and wasted my time giving me false information and back-peddling.
Had a problem with my order somehow getting lost in the postal system, I contacted DFTBA support and they've been incredibly helpful and timely about all their responses. Stellar customer service, I will definitely continue ordering from them. The products I buy are also well crafted and
Contacted customer service regarding the slow arrival of my order and was told my order was exactly where it should be, based on the method of shipping I chose at the time of purchase. The customer service agent proceeded to tell me that since she considered that there was no problem, she was closing the ticket out in my inquiry. I also mention that the shipping prices offered where quite expensive. The response I received was that the prices were set by UPS, and I can take it up with them if I had an issue. This is what we call customer service now?
This site sells youtuber merchandise mostly, and it is fantastic. Easy to follow layout, very fast shipping, and nothing I've bought from them has ever arrived broken or damaged. I don't think they overcharge for anything, and they have a lot of interesting things :)
All I wanted was a poster. It still isnt here. Customer service doesnt tell me anything. They just give me a tracking number that doesnt work because I live in Canada. I bought it in November, and its almost February and I still dont have my poster.
IT STILL HAS NOT GOT HERE! So much for a Christmas gift. And I ordered it in November. Their site says it takes up to 10 business days to receive. I was told it originally shipped on December 8th, however the real truth was it didn't ship until the 22nd. Now I just got word that my package was sent to the wrong post office so still won't be here this week. Probably won't ever order again from this site.
