Never order from this site. I placed my order almost a month ago and have not received it. No one answers the phone at this company or responds to emails. They haven't charged me yet, so I emailed them to cancel the order. I hope they don't charge my card. Based on the reviews it looks they probably will. This does not seem like a legitimate company to me. Do not order from them.
I wish I'd known about Site Jabber before buying from Discount Pet Drugs. I bought on-line both wet and dry special purpose veterinary dog food. (It reads that way on the paper Shipping Invoice!) I received dry dog food and wet Cat Food. Now I reach a phone mail box and cannot access the web site. I get a pop up box requiring a server name and password that I cannot get past. - STAY AWAY...!
The BBB gives them an F, and now I know why. On 19 March I placed an order for much needed medicine for my dog and my credit card was charged. Seven days later not only have I not gotten the medicine - I still haven't gotten confirmation of the order. I've called almost every day explaining the urgency and requesting a shipping number; when they pick up (not always) and don't hang up on me, they give me the runaround. And now they have taken the liberty of charging my credit card a second time, without my permission, for a higher amount. These people are scary.
NEVER do business with this company. They do not stand behind their return policy, they don't answer their phones or emails. The person I spoke was very unprofessional and wouldn't answer my questions. I asked for a manager (that was a joke)... I was advised he wasn't around and no one knew when he would return. I now use PetFoodDirect. Their prices are a little higher but they have great customer service and the product is delivered within a week (vs. Discountpetdrugs where you will wait 1 month for your order). It will be a better world when Discountpetdrugs goes out of business for being such jerks.
It is impossible to contact customer service. I tried to call several times with no answer, and reached a full voicemail box. I emailed 2 seperate email addresses and did not hear back. My order was placed over 2 weeks ago and I have not received anything, and I no longer need the products, but I have no way to cancel the order
Customer service is non-responsive and it takes forever to get the order. I ordered pet food for my cat. My credit card was charged immediately, and then the waiting started. I e-mailed several times about the status of the order, and also called their customer service and left a message. The couple of e-mails I received provided no information ("we'll send it soon") and the company never returned my phone call. After a month, I e-mail them to say that if I did not have confirmation of shipment by the end of the day, I would cancel my order. That seemed to work; however, the first shipping notification they sent me was not for my order. I finally received the pet food, but I will not order from this company again. Certainly do not use for medication that your pet needs.
My dog died and I sent a package back to them - it was expensive arthritis meds that I obviously didn't need. They told me to send them back - no problem - well, I did - they are claiming that they never received my return package which is a total lie - I confirmed the delivery - they are refusing to give me my credit - over $140.
Stinkin jerks - I hope that people don't use their website.
They are very rude - they keep giving you the run around - I think they should be shut down - I bet their books are crooked -
Sent wrong product and very rude - I ordered 2 bottles of epi-otic advanced ear cleanser for my dog. I was sent an incorrect order, wrong product, wrong size, wrong quantity. It took days of calling to reach someone, after being told a manager would call me, he didn't, and after sending me a return label with no explanation or apology about the wrong order, I was told the correct order would arrive in one day. 5 days later I called to inquire, the man was rude abrupt and told me I would not be sent the correct order, I would get a refund. I would never do business with this company again.
Many of the reviewer's problems I have experienced myself. Terrible experience. Customer service is non-existent. I got their computer voice menu, transferred to their "mailbox" = FULL. I wrote customer service. They did NOT respond. The website states that their offices are in "New England" but the confirmation is done in SUNNYVALE California.

If you care about your pet do not order from DiscountPetDrugs.com.It took 20 days and numerous phone calls and e-mails to finally find out that medication is out of stock and charged my credit card for $467.00.In addition, one of the reasons that the customer service reps are hard to understand is because they have very very thick Hispanic accents. I need full amount credited to by credit card.
I ordered a product on 11/04/2009 and have still not recieved my order.
The product required a prescription. My vet would not fax the prescription with a verification from Discount Pets that they were licenced in FL. Pet Drugs would not comply. I went to my vets office and picked up the prescription. I tried to call and email Pet Drugs as I needed their mailing address. They did not respond. I again made numerous calls but there was no answer and their mail box was always full. I also emailed them on many occasions and did finally receive a request to email the prescription. I complied and I faxed a copy of the prescription on 11/24/2009.
On 11/25/2009 they credited my Visa card as payment for the product. On 12/07/2009 I called as I had not received the product. I did get an answer. I was told a supervisor would research it and call me back. I asked how long that would take and was told 45 minutes. I never received a call back.
On 12/09/2009 I called Pet Drugs 4 times, finally getting an answer. I was told that they shipped my order on Monday, 12/07/2009. I await the shipment.
