I'm a long-time user (a decade or more). Over the past couple of years there have been several instances of the site going 404. I can't access my login page, nor my (paid) website.
Can't reach Heath Huffman.
The FB page for the company has vanished. It was filled with complaints from unhappy users, so that might be why.

Tip for consumers:
If Heath is trying to end this business, he should advise his existing customers so we can move elsewhere.

Our non-profit organization, Abladeius.org has had a website with this company for many years. However in recent past, their services deteriorated, that we couldn't get responses to our myriad issues. Then, our website disappeared and we couldn't log in, although they continued to charge us every month. Our numerous pleas via phone calls and emails went unanswered. Then about a month ago, I received an email informing me that the company will go out of business by the end of the year. So, we can choose to clone our website and take it to another company. I replied asking how to clone a website we can't find? To my dismay, their original email disappeared from my inbox. We later realized that our website has been sold, although they continue to charge our credit card monthly. The company that took over our website kept changing their name to elude us in reclaiming it. All our pictures and historical data, gone. I filed a complaint with the BBB.

While Doodlekit is a free website builder, it is not the most user-friendly. The site's homepage looks... promising, but does not provide all the necessary tools to navigate the page and start creating. The list of features show that no HTML knowledge is required and the created websites will work in any browser, and all the examples look nice. Fortunately I noticed the "See Plans & Pricing" button soon enough, and I liked that there were options for pricing, with the basic option being free, and prices ranging all the way up to premium at $99. The free basic option seems to be adequate enough for personal use or even a professional site, depending on the company.
