Simple, effective, and self-explanatory, but I'll explain it anyway: this site tells you if the problems you're having on a particular site are something *everyone's* experiencing, or just you. I've used it before when twitter and reddit are down. Great tool!
For myanimelist it just doesnt work, it says its up and its just my problem, however the site itself says it has an internal server error. Downdetector works much better, use that.
