Because I cancelled my membership with eharmoney, their collection agency is after me and I have submit ed this letter through my attorney to put them off

Please be advised that Mr. Daniel Simons has recently consulted with our office in order to assist him in attempting to resolve a dispute involving an account which is apparently the subject of collection activity by your organization.

Specifically, Mr. Simons informs us that he is in receipt of your collection demand letter dated July 24,2023 demanding a payment of $361.46 from him for eHarmony. However, Mr. Simons further informs us that eHarmony falsely advertised that his membership can be cancelled. He reveals to us that, after eHarmony collected its first payment from him, Mr. Simons was entirely dissatisfied with the service from eHarmony as there was unavailability of members within his area. Mr. Simons tells us that he then consulted with his attorney and, based on eHarmony's totally unsatisfactory service, Mr. Simons was advised by his attorney that he had the right to cancel his membership with eHarmony as he asserts that is the law. Mr. Simons points out to us that, after a period of 2 weeks, he canceled his eHarmony membership via e-mail and by phone call and he never used eHarmony again as he also canceled additional payments. Mr. Simons further reports to us that he was directed to do this by his attorney since this was a total loss as he found eHarmony made many false claims. Mr. Simons reports to us that he actually requested
A partial refund from eHarmony for cancelling.

Therefore, at this time, Mr. Simons hereby disputes this debt in its entirety and demands that you immediately reverse his account balance to $0.00.

Accordingly, please consider this letter a formal dispute on behalf of Mr. Simons that you immediately investigate the facts and circumstances concerning this matter and agree to provide him with an appropriate response to his concerns. Said response should include, at a minimum, immediate cessation of any further collection activity against Mr. Simons with regard to this account including, but not limited to, immediate deletion of any and all negative credit references against him.

Mr. Simons has been made fully aware of his legal rights and your obligations and potential liabilities under the law, and he has expressed an intention to pursue any and all available legal remedies against you should this letter fail to generate an appropriate response.

Please respond to the undersigned via e-mail at *******@PARKSTAN.com, within ten (10) days of the date of this letter, in order to avoid further legal action.
