I ordered over $150 worth of Kevin Murphy products from Emerald & Thistle Boutique. It took about 7 days for me to get the products. Upon opening the package, I realized that one of the shampoo bottles had a missing seal and the cap had opened during shipping and it had leaked everywhere. This is because they threw all my shampoo bottles loose into a flimsy salon bag and put them into a box for shipping. No tape over them, no packing material in the box. Since one was opened when I received it, I have no idea if this is even really Kevin Murphy shampoo that I received (it is a problem with people receiving fake Kevin Murphy products from some online retailers). I asked this store for a partial replacement or refund for my $33 bottle of shampoo because half the volume of the bottle had leaked and they took two days to respond to me with a hard no and the audacity to defend their careless packaging and shipping. Apparently, they never offer refunds for hair care products, even if they ship a damaged item. They referred me to the shipper, but THIS WAS NOT A SHIPPING ISSUE. My shampoo had been opened before they shipped it and they packed it carelessly. There is no way I will ever order from them again because of their unreasonable and ridiculous refund policy.
