“A review with a happier ending”

I purchased a 2020 dodge ram with the diesel engine… very hard to find… I had an issue with the starter and the truck had slipped out of warranty. They went the extra mile and did a goodwill replacement for me so I have nothing bad to say, and I would recommend buying from the Woburn mass location… stay away from Manchester, New Hampshire location. Sales people just are not as honest as the Woburn sales group … they really went the extra mile

“Ripped off”

Sonia L.

I worked with a salesperson to reviews cars and ultimately found a car I thought was perfect. I purchased this car. It turns out the list of features on the website was a lie (for example it listed power lift gate and heated seats and the car has neither of these features). In addition they listed the car as an XLE model but it is an LE (without a leather steering wheel or moonroof). I had thought I was getting a great deal but ultimately was ripped off. The only reason I did not give one star is I now have an opportunity to return the car within 7 days of purchase. I feel taken advantage of and cheated.

I purchased a 2019 Honda HR-V EX on August 30th 2023, from the Henderson Nv location. I was paying the car in full without financing for a total of $20,292.21, with my debit card and pin. The system they use does not show the total amount you are paying when entering the pin. After receiving the approval, I was notified that I was accidentally charged $29,292.21. I'm a believer that honest mistakes happen and as a result, simply requested the overage of $9000.00 to be reversed Immediately so that other transactions posting to my account that day and overnight would not be compromised since it would be negative over $8000.000.

I was told that they have no means of reversing the overage and that it must be approved by a manager and a check would be sent. During this time, and I can only assume because I remained so calm, a lot of joking occurred, referring to how the overage "was a bonus", etc. I'd like to think in this day and age, $9000.00 is quite a bit of money to be joking about, nonetheless I left the dealership quite calm and was told a check would be sent. That evening and overnight 13 separate transactions were put through and rejected because of the overage causing ultimate overdraft fees as well as embarrassment with various companies that were attempting to bill me. Furthermore, 2 of my credit card auto payments were rejected causing a late fee and rejected ach fee.

Moving forward, I noticed that the car suspension on the car I purchased had a really rough ride, and seemed it a bit abnormal, I also noticed the air conditioning system was a not adequately cooling down the car. I contacted the salesman 48 hours later and a complete 180 degree demeanor occurred, although there is 7 day/1000 mile buyback, I was told that he would have to speak to the manager to see what resolution could be made. I did not hear back for well over 6 hours. Eventually, I was told to bring the car back in to swap it out.

The following day, I spent the vast part of the morning, trying to find something that was similar in features and price range, to no avail. I brought the car back to the Henderson location, and found a Jeep Compass, that stated on the spec sheet online, the safety features similar to what the previous vehicle had, (Lane keep assist, park sense park assist etc.).

A few hours later I noticed that none of the stated features were present, I also noticed that the engine oil level low light emitted, I checked the oil level to notice it was over a quart low after driving only 30 miles, once again I contacted the dealership back and was told to bring the car back in for an immediate refund. Rather than cause any damage to the vehicle I paid to have it towed there at my cost.

The following day, I contacted the dealership, to find out the whereabouts of my almost $30,000 refund, only to be told that it will take some time. I was given various answers from Jimmy the sales manager, at one point asking what I did for work, I responded I was the star of the TV show Storage Hunters, and now a producer, I'm not sure what relevance that had, but it seemed to all make sense when he realized that I had a bit more social media presence that the average customer, the answer he decided to stick to, was that enterprise did not have custody of my money. ( see attached bank ledgers.) I contacted Bank of America, and they contacted the Federal clearing house and verified that Enterprise has had custody of the money since August 31st.

Due to my frustration level rising, I requested a corporate number from the sales manager, while flat out denied it and told me there isn't one. I stated that I was being left with no other alternative but to potentially proceed with arbitration, he laughed and responded that with those threats I'll never see my money back.

Moving forward to today both cars are back online being sold while they have my money and have cause me countless hours of frustration and additional fees.

For those reading this review, please ask yourself what you would do in my position? And ask yourself do you want to be put in the same position. The situation is nothing short of Grand theft larceny, considering the goods have been re-listed on their website and, I have even begged to release the vehicle back to me and I'll take the loss. I am paid in full, they have my money for the full amount due for the vehicle and refuse to refund or give me the car back.

In conclusion, I have several ways I'll be pursuing this matter, although you are forced into signing an arbitration agreement, provisionally this does not allow a company to violate the law, so you can still file lawsuit in the event a similar situation takes place, this has been confirmed with Clark County Court, as well as my personal attorney, to be clear I have not initiated action as of writing, and yes for those wondering I have reached out to *******@enterprise.com as well as the private message feature on Facebook with no response.

I paid $305 for Enterprise Car Sale to transfer a car from their lot in Fredericksburg va to the Newport News lot. This is less than a 2 hour drive. It has been 2 weeks and they cannot deliver the car. Michael reminded me that their contract says they have 21 days to deliver the car. Every time I call about the car they come up with a different excuse. Today the excuse given was that they discovered that one of the key fobs does not work so they have to wait until another one is ordered. Either they don't have the car or it has been damaged and they are trying to repair the car. It was advertised as no accidents and one driver vehicle. I don't trust the information I am being given. I want my money back or the car. Don't deal with these unscrupulous people. Don't pay for a transfer if you can drive to pick up your car. You intend to buy. Something fishy is going on here and I regret dealing with this company.

Enterprise car sales had a vehicle listed. We took screenshots, vin price ect, and no haggle price.AZ salesman called the CA branch, confirmed the price of the vehicle. We paid the transfer fee. And we wait. The salesman says that the vehicle is all your's.
We wait for the vehicle to get out of certification we received a call from the sales department the vehicle is in AZ you can sign tomorrow. But you will have to pay 10k more.
We complain about the price, and the no haggle photo. He says he will talk to the manager. The manager says it was a mistake. The list price that was confirmed was a mistake, the sales department calling us stating that the vehicle was in AZ was a mistake, the text explicitly stating that that vehicle in state was a mistake, nothing that they can do. As it was all mistakes posting the add posting the no haggle price, confirming the no haggle listed price, and texting and phone calling that the vehicle was in state was a mistake, days later the manager called again confirmed yep mistakes.
But because we feel bad we can try to see if we can get it a tad lower, but nowhere near the listed price of what you saw and put $_ in for. Days later they still have our cash... But no vehicle, just bait and switch.
Oh and took our$600.00
Do not trust them

Tip for consumers:
Consumer Fraud, bait and switch, do not live up to advertised deals.

Products used:
Nothing. They took our cash, and left us empty handed unless we paid $10,000.00 more

Wow renting a vehicle Enterprise ran my credit 8 times changing my credit score by 120 points. My banking institution is the one that brought it to my attention printing it out showing that Enterprise ran my credit eight times in a matter of 36 hours dropping my credit score. When I brought it to Enterprises attention I was told that I didn't know what I was talking about I presented them with my credit report and was told that that's wrong. In going to corporate to have them deny the seven hits I was told they would never run somebody's credit over and over again. I again spoke with the manager at the location and was told well we were trying to get you the best deal based on what you were looking for, admitting that they ran it multiple times. Now the location is stating that it's not their responsibility to update the credit bureaus. The argumentative manner the denial and the blatant disregard for somebody's credit I'll never use Enterprise again think twice before using them there's lots of competition and lots of great rates out there, Enterprise is not the company you want to be doing business with!

Tip for consumers:
There's lots of competition for rental car agencies in Arizona Alamo Budget Dollar and Hertz have to have better communication skills and the ability to be humble when they screw up to make sure that the customer is happy. Not this company look elsewhere don't waste your money on Enterprise!

This company lied on the bank that approved me. They are dishonest and not upfront with people they think are dumb to being first time buyers. They force you into buying the car they want and how they are going to fill their pockets along with doing multiple credit checks along with giving me misinformation for whatever and stringing me along. They were never going to give me a car anyway. They kept lying saying the bank was concerned about my job but i called the bank and the bank said that was not true and that the enterprise structure was wrong and to change it. Enterprise told me my down-payment was 1,000 but the bank said they didnt understand because the required down payment was 2,000. The bank also said the manual percentage rate needs updating and maintenance back end etc. Basically they need to update their structure. They used me and my information to get somebody else approved and whatever else crooked schem they have and had going. This is just the beginning of what I am about to do to that deceptive company who jeopardized my credit and strung me along and lied to me for no reason at all.

I had booked with enterprise two weeks before my trip and somehow my reservation got cancelled a week before my trip. So the next day i called to see if i can get my reservations back for the same rate and they told me that they can't change the rates they have to go off of what the rate are now. This is ridiculous and frustrating your a paying customer and can't even get any help with something that you had no control over just because they want money so bad. This is how you lose customers by not being on there side to help and make sure there are situated and everything is taken care of

Mixed results, prices all over the place, sometimes you get a Merc instead of a Chev, which is nice, but frequently you are kept waiting because the car is not ready.
