I placed the order with the color "as pictured" which was navy. The color I received was "Blue" which was a baby blue, not at all what I wanted. It was very difficult to get hold of customer service, but when I did, they would not take the dress back! Order at your own risk! Also the size is plus or minus 3 sizes. HA! Good luck with this!

I ordered a dress that they said was made to custom fit. The fit is awful, the dress barely resembles what was pictured and the sequins fall off at the slightest movement. I have attempted to return it but I keep getting ridiculous responses. I was told they would give me $10 credit, and $15 credit, 50% off refund, told to sell the dress, go to a seamstress and on and on. When I ask for a guarantee of the refund, I only get asked to confirm I accept their offer. When I ask for an address I get asked to confirm their offer. They also sent me an invoice $60 less then what I paid for the dress, stating that was to save money through customs. I have saved all correspondence with them in email. I would love to find a way to stop this company and all the others they have out there on the web (more than one) from even being allowed to show up on any search engine. This should not be legal.

I ordered a Prom dress for my daughter because she begged me to order online instead of buying local. I did not feel good about it from the beginning. I started reading reviews that I should have before hand and was feeling very nervous. My husband called the company and spoke with a lady in China and said dress is made and is being shipped soon, she would not give a exact day or any other info. We received the dress on time but needless to say the dress does not look like the one in the picture. It was too long even after paying the extra fee for the tailoring so it would fit perfectly. The chest part of the dress is made out of some kind of foam that makes your eyes instantly go to that area. I was scared she was going to rip it apart just standing still. (bad quality) It reminds me of a costume rather than a prom gown. If you return it, you only get half your money back, plus you pay for the shipping also. I choose to keep it and will take it to a seamstress to fix so my daughter could wear it to something else. Long story short we sucked it up as a learning experience and bought another dress for half the price and better quality. Don't buy online and out of the country. SHOP LOCAL!

I ordered 4 matching dresses for my music quartet. They arrived in a timely fashion and appeared well constructed, BUT none of them fit. Each one was several inches smaller than the advertised measurements for the size. When I requested to return them, they insisted that I send them photos of me taking my measurements. They then concluded that I was holding the measuring tape too tightly around my hips, and that was why they did not fit. Yet the dress was also 3 inches too small in the bust. After I filed a formal dispute with my credit card company, because the merchandise received was not as advertised, fabvogue agreed that I could return the dresses. They told me to list the value at $20 to avoid the taxes even though I had paid over $500 for them. They then sent repeated emails begging me to cancel my transaction dispute. The credit card company said the dispute should not be cancelled until the refund was posted by fabvogue. I returned the dresses to them, (declaring full value) and postal tracking confirmed that they were delivered on October 2,2015. The company denied that they had been received until I had an e mail confirmation directly sent to them from USPS postal tracking--then they admitted they had been received but claimed they were only received on October 19. They also said that because I had not cancelled the dispute, I already had my money!

To summarize:
Their dresses are not sized as advertised.
They do not stand behind their products and go to great lengths to find a reason to deny your ability to return unacceptable merchandise. (As another complainant mentioned, they suggested that I resell the dresses myself.)
They lied until irrefutable proof was provided that they received the returns.
They are still avoiding processing my refund despite acknowledging that they received returned merchandise.

These people are dishonest. I do not recommend that anyone do business with them, but if you find yourself in my position, DO NOT GIVE UP! They count on customers finding it too hard to continue to fight for what is right. File a formal transaction dispute with your credit card company and document every step along the way!

Make sure u read the reviews before ordering. New to this didnt know any better

I read each of these reviews and I felt sad for the buyers that they were so discouraged and angry over their purchase. For me, my experience was not like kind. I saw the dress I liked and completed and submitted what I thought was the correct measurements. To my amazement my phone rang a few days after I ordered and paid for the dress and on the other line was a person from Singapore who explained to me that the seamstress did not feel the measurements were correct and that I needed to measure again. She actually waited on the phone for me to re-measure. Once I re-measured the length changed by 16 inches. I thanked her for the call and when my dress arrived it literally looked exactly like the photo. The seamstress was right and the color and style of the dress is beautiful. To call me here in the US to insure I would be happy with my dress was beyond what I expected. I am very happy with this purchase and even though its not perfect its more than what I expected. The fit and length are perfect and I appreciate the work and care that went into making this dress. This is the mother of the bride dress and I know my daughter will be very pleased with my choice as I watch her walk down the Isle.

The Fabvoguedress (also known as Izzidress) website shows pictures of the actual designer dresses so you think that's what your ordering. Not so! I ordered a dress for my son's wedding... it was the wrong material, different color, wrong size and cheap beading. I contacted my credit card company and disputed the charges whereupon I started receiving phone calls from people in China asking me to not file a dispute. It took me three months of due diligence of phone calls, letters and emails to clear this matter up. At the end I had to pay for shipping the dress back to China. DON'T BE FOOLED!
