I've ordered only once there, before reading the reviews and I got scared I'll be scumed. On the contrary, they delivered the books and the experience was good. The delivery took more than two months but I expected it because it was an internation order. Overall, cheaper books in great condition. Helpful customer service. They offer a refund if the books don't come in around 2,5 months.
Ordered item from Fishpond.co.uk as £2 cheaper than Amazon. After 5 weeks item never arrived, minimal support from Customer Services- and then just to confirm delivery address. Given up of ever receiving item and have started to reclaim money through credit card.

I bought a book which stated in stock and free UK delivery within a few days. Money was taken upon placing the order. After a week of no book and no contact so I checked my online account to see that the book had still not been dispatched. I contacted them by email (they don't have a phone number) and a day later received a reply to say they are struggling to get any stock of my book and the stock status on their website is wrong. They said I could cancel the order through my account though. I went to do only to find it states if I cancel a 17% re stocking fee will be taken from my refund. Given that their website stock is wrong, they didn't contact me to tell me and never posted my item and that it is their error I have to cancel, it doesn't seem fair to have to pay a restocking fee? Currently awaiting a reply and will update my review once received with outcome.
Placed an order for a boardgame on the 17th February and was given an estimated delivery aim of 5th March. Given how they operate, and the game being half the price of elsewhere, I was happy to wait. Item was updated on the 23rd as Shipped and arrived this morning via Royal Mail 24, well packaged and just as I ordered.
As first orders go, this was excellent!

They emailed me to say they were struggling to source it and would I like to refund which I did.
These fraudsters have refunded me £16.79 WTAF.
I ordered and transfered money for a purchase in November so I would have it for Xmas. I had heard nothing by mid December so emailed, no reply. I phoned, no reply. Now on Dec 30th still no book or reply. Will move onto trading standards now. Clearly from other reviews they are a dodgy company
I ordered from this website at the beginning of November. Before placing my order, I emailed them to ask a question about the product. After days of waiting, I finally received a response which said "if you Google the item you will find everything you need to know about it". Obviously I should have just walked away at that point but as I had trouble finding the item I wanted in stock elsewhere I went ahead and ordered with them.
The item was coming from America but they said at the point of ordering it was in stock and would arrive at the beginning of December.
The item didn't arrive when they said it would, I emailed and got no response.
I then received an email on 19th December saying the title you ordered is out of stock, we have cancelled your order and will process the refund. No explanation, no apology!
I am absolutely livid. I ordered at the beginning of November, surely if it was out of stock they would have known prior to then. By the time they told me it was far too late for me to try and order elsewhere so I am going to have one very disappointed little boy on Christmas Day so thank you Fishpond!
Complete waste of time, customer service is none existent and they sell items and take money that they don't even know if they have in stock or not!
