“I love shopping and selling on Goimagine!”

Sandra D.
11/7/22

I love this new marketplace. I've been a Seller/Maker on the site from the beginning. The marketplace is a bit different from other marketplaces, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. The founders have given us so many features so that we can really customize our listings. One that I'm particularly like is the number of options that we are able to add to a listing. This will allow our customers to fully customize their orders, without having to send several emails back and forth. The founders of the marketplace have worked hard to build a dashboard that is functioning and are constantly working to make upgrades that we as sellers would like to see. They are now working on a new dashboard that will make listings easier to create. We are told that will be coming soon. From a buyers point of view, I love shopping on Goimagine. The site is easy to use and with all the items I've purchased from the marketplace, I have never had an issue checking out. I truly appreciate the fact that they are working to keep the marketplace free from mass produced products and keeping them handmade. And the fact that their profits go to help support children's charities makes it all even better. I'm so happy that I found Goimagine... as this will be my home to sell my handmade goods from here going forward.

“TOTAL WASTE OF TIME & MONEY”

Tony C.
10/7/23

I dedicated so much time and energy to Goimage and it was a total waste of time! They talk the talk and on Facebook have a great cheerleader squad but nothing but talk and promises. I have been on there for 2 years and have had 4 small sales. On Etsy we do anywhere from 12 to 30 sales per day, Ebay 2 to 6 sales per day. My website has 4000 to 5000 visitors per day. Go imagine in September had 4100 to 4400 visitors per day. My website has more visitors then the entire Goimage platform and you know that 99% of the 4000 visits they receive are their sellers! Do not take my work, go to SEMRUSH and you can verify these numbers yourself. I have never seen a single Goimagine ad. They want you to bring your own business. WHY, I bring my own business to my own website, not to them to then pay fees. I am done with Goimagine.

Site owner made things right (sent me my file plus offered $15.00 credit).

There is supposedly a Stripe option to pay but that wasn't available when I purchased. Confirmation of purchase was slow and Seller never responded to my message.

I thank the site for making my bad experience better. Guess I'll just avoid further purchases from Abby Farmer Creations. Thank you, to Jonathon Lincoln

I've been with Goimagine for 4 months on the $10/month program. I've worked my butt off to get products up but where are the customers? The set-up isn't all that user-friendly, it takes forever to add products because there aren't any integrations and there's NINE pages (some optional) of information to fill out for each product with no option for variations. I haven't seen a single penny in return, and my products sell well on other sites. I was really hoping this would be a better alternative to Etsy's biased algorithms.

The most concerning thing is looking through their site from the customer's perspective, you can sort items by popularity, and most of my items show up on the 2nd or 3rd pages of particular categories. Which means the dozens to hundreds of pages after my items haven't sold a single thing either. How much money have they generated since inception without putting enough effort into getting customers?

Finally... try to change your seller subscription... good luck finding where to do that.

Have you asked for help with any of this? Changing your subscription is right on the dashboard. You also have the option to make custom categories for your own page.
You can attend one of the many webinars or "office hours" and ask question about the "money made", advertising etc.

Response: I think this deserves taking a minute to respond. I did find where to cancel my subscription and they literally only have the option of ending the subscription immediately, no refund for unused time and they kill your account right then and there so unless you cancel the day before you are renewed, you've donated money to these people.

I did make custom categories, it has nothing to do with variations, those are two different things.

I don't need their help, I've viewed enough webinars and the like to make me sick. How many hours are you going to spend to make $0, time is money and money is time. I don't want people's words, I want their actions, "...by their fruit you shall know them". I don't need them to explain to me that they are advertising, I want to see the fruit.

People need to their jobs when you're paying them to provide a service. The service I expected from GoImagine was to bring me customers and they failed at that, gave me no indication they were even trying. No views, clicks, impressions, anything like that that I could find and I do remember searching for this info on GoImagine.

Also, when you switch google accounts and "shop" on a site for a little while, you should start seeing advertisements for that site. Nothing from GoImagine at all, not even to sell. If they don't advertise with the most popular and productive advertising medium on the web, then what the heck are they bothering for?

When your products are successful on every other platform, it's not you, IT'S THEM.

Goimagine has been a game changer for my small business. I wanted my own.com for some time but I didn't have the time to learn how to build my own website. Goimagine's "Mosaic" plan gives me exactly what I want for such a small monthly fee; all I had to do was set up my listings and the website was created for me! The user dashboard is so easy to learn, there are step-by-step tutorials and videos for every question you may need answered. In addition to the immense how-tos, the Goimagine team is extremely responsive and beyond helpful. They are easily accessible and truly support their sellers. This is by far my favorite handmade marketplace.

I, like most people, have gotten tired of Etsy allowing crap to go unchecked. I saw this in my FB feed and signed up. OMG the attempts to set up my shop were a disaster. Supposedly they have "self help videos", but I watched the ones for the problems I had and they did NOT help in any way whatsoever! Specifically I kept trying to set up "options" in my first listing. The help videos told me to click on things that were not there, and select things that THEY had on their video, but I did not have. They showed the problem already fixed and present in their videos, but never told me how to get to that point! I figured if it is taking me this long to try to get ONE listing done...this is not for me. Also they require a different payment platform that I have never heard of. I don't want to try to keep track of all these different paypal/venmo/applepay/ this new one...ugh. If you can struggle through it, grand for you. But from my experience it was a mess.

My shop on goimagine is Rivermist Creations and I have their Mosaic stand alone website rivermistcreations.com. Goimagine is not E* and that is the best thing about them. The goimagine selling platform can be different but it is not impossible nor hard to navigate in setting up your shop. I've been with goimagine since beta and they have continually improved and will continue to do so. Sales have been growing steadily and the founders CARE about the sellers/makers just as much as they do about the customer. They have the best customer service of any site I've seen yet. The fees are extremely reasonable to the seller but add on to all of that and they give back to children in need. What more could anyone want.

I am so impressed with Goimagine - and I speak from both a buyers and a sellers perspective. As a buyer, I know that every purchase I make is directly supporting both a handmade artisan and those in need - and both the artisan and the charity are based right here in America. Something as simple as consciously choosing where to shop can make a big impact on people right here at home (and I get beautiful, thoughtful handmade gifts for my family :).
From a sellers perspective - the site was very easy to set up. Customer service was fantastic! They are readily available and really held my hand to help import my listings from E, making the workload of uploading 100 + listings minimal. I really just had to tweak a few things and had the site up and running same day. Also, I have never felt like an anonymous number in the great big E cog. Goimagine truly values and interacts with their sellers. I feel like my voice is both heard and valued. Over these first few years some of the biggest changes implemented to the site have been from the sellers input and experience. They are building a marketplace that works with it's artists.
It is a privilege to have a shop on this marketplace. Here my products aren't just gracing customer's tables, they are helping to put food on them

I was so excited to see an alternative to Etsy that I joined goimagine soon after learning about it. However, I am very disappointed as it was not as I expected. I worked off and on the setup for over a month; several times I decided it wasn't worth the time, effort & frustration, but after spending so much time on it, decided to keep at it until I completed it. If you have never had any experience creating a website, i would not recommend it at all. I finally published it, but have had no sales. I still don't know if it is working properly. Will close my account if something doesn't change within another month. I truly wish it had been a good experience!

I am like the others got carried away with the wave of go imagine ad on Facebook also other sellers on Etsy sellers groups on fB they recommended it badly, first of all the setup kind of confusing, 2nd there was a fees (but no problem if only you get orders), 3rd they claim they advertise the shops and items on the web browsers I looked everywhere for my items and shop on every available browser never find my items never saw other items advertised from go imagine website?! Where's their promises, I paid 6months subscription but no single order! Meantime I was making very good sales on Etsy! Eventually I canceled and ran away from go imagine, I recommend you too run away.

Sanday Dasota helped me when I was confused. It turned out to be something a single click could solve. I am not sure how life will be for me here. The fun part is the listing is not as bad as on other sites. I love love love the homey feeling as well. What is beyond priceless is they don't advertise other people on your page. I noticed that and was like hell yeah. I have been busy listing and all my images look great. I was a little discouraged about having to advertise. But since they allowed me to keep my business name. Hell yeah, I already have that on everything. Support has helped me with anything and not once was anyone in a bad mood. I am dealing with a few health issues and this might be the place I land for a very long time. I am building and figure what I can manage to spend on a cup of coffee. I better give it to the kids. And no way on earth will I ever go back to Etsy. I hope to be off eBay soon as well. Goimagine rocks. And the other sellers are so helpful.

Etsy's customer service is horrible! They have been deleting my listings and I cannot get a hold of a human being. Their customer service is nonexistent. They just keep sending me automated replies. I don't know what they want me to remove on my listings. It was a blessing in disguise, because I had to find alternative platforms and that's when I found goimagine.com. Here is my new shop! I am currently working on adding all my listings so please be patient! I am in love with goimagine.com. Their customer service is amazing and their website is easy to navigate. Not to mention the fact that they donate 100% of the profits to children's charity. I'm sold! You can even clone your listing so you don't have to do one by one, you can just edit them!

I signed up to goimagine to get away from Etsy which is HORRIBLE and flooded with non-handmade items that artisan's can't compete with. I was excited that they vetted their vendors to a point and that they give back to communities and encourage vendors to do so as well. I thought, being new, they would blow other platforms out of the water for ease of set up...NOT THE CASE. 1st, you have to sign up for a STRIPE account. I have a Square account already, would have preferred to choose which one I used. 2nd, entering products, uploading images, deleting images, EVERYTHING from start to finish in adding products is cumbersome. I still don't know why platforms don't allow for uploading multiple (like up to 100) images at a time and then, sort through and separated them per product listing. You also cannot move your thumbnail around so unless your picture was photographed with EXTRA foreground, your image gets chopped. There is no way to crop and re-save...literally have to take new images...that's not time consuming or anything though, so no big deal RIGHT! They have launched a new seller dashboard that is glitchier than the old one, but does seem like once "fixed" it will be more user friendly. In it's current state it is not usable. I want to love goimagine or ANY platform that makes the life of a maker a little easier. Dealing with problem platforms is super time consuming, frustrating and discouraging.
