I initially purchased an H2o plan January 2nd, 2024 for talk and text in the US and Alberta, Canada, which worked seamlessly during my stay in Canada without incurring any extra fees or data roaming charges. Impressed with the service, on Jan 20th I decided to upgrade to an annual plan for both my American line and my wife's line, totaling $140.However, after completing the port-in process and waiting for 24 hours, my service did not activate. Upon contacting your customer support, I was surprised to learn that additional fees for data roaming were required, contrary to my initial experience with the pay-as-you-go plan. I find this discrepancy perplexing, especially considering that my other line with H2o operates in Canada without incurring monthly data roaming fees. In my attempt to resolve this issue, I requested to switch my plan back to the original pay-as-you-go plan, which is still active and in use. Unfortunately, I was informed that such a switch was not possible, and should I choose to switch plans, I would forfeit the money I had already paid. Expressing my dissatisfaction, I requested to speak with a supervisor. After persistence, I was promised a discussion with a supervisor. However, to my dismay, the agent abruptly hung up after an hour and a half on the phone.
