I ordered a new NIV bible art journal. But only accept when I got it. Some of the pages were colored some of the pages. And it had somebody's name in it and it was used! I'm not satisfied about it have price books you can shove it.
I ordered a brand new, but rare, book in the UK from this company and a second hand version was received, complete with four strips of someone else's passport photos and a credit card receipt to an aquarium in Atlanta. The hardback book was also sent in a thin poly envelope, resulting in all corners being damaged on receipt. They are now advising that they do not have another copy of the book in stock and, firstly, offered me a 10 per cent discount, followed by a 60 per cent discount. Simply not good enough. I will report them for misselling unless they can provide me with what I purchased under a sale of contract. Do not use hpb.com.

So I have now tried to order books from their site twice. The first time they sent me the paper back copy instead of the hardback copy. They tried to tell me it was the same thing (except that the paper back copy is cheaper and as a gift I wanted the hardcover). After finally talking to a manager he emailed me a shipping label to send back but was still out for shipping to me. So I got a 20% off coupon to use and decided to try again. This time I was quickly told right after I hit the order button that they already had the $60 book. I immediately called to be told that although it says it is sold by hpb it is fulfilled by a different company and they would not be able to cancel it. I would have to return it when it arrives at my expense. After finally talking to a manager he agreed to send me the shipping label back so I'm only out the $4 to have it sent to me. I asked if he could cancel the whole order and he said no. I asked if I could take it to the local physical store and get refunded and they said no. I asked if they could contact the company they are working with to cancel and he said no and they would say no even if he tried. Crappy online customer service considering how the store is so good.
