“Great work”

Great work, process was slow but paid off in the long haul. A few of my co-workers actually reached out to these guys after the success of my first store as well. I can say if you do go to these guys be patient because it will definitely pay off. You have to remember that you hired a pro and let the pro do what thy do best. I would recommend this company

“SCAM COMPANY! STAY AWAY”

They have taken so much money from me and are not responding. It seems they have done this 3 times now. They are good at it. They made me wait. Very slow in response and I was being patient. Just last week they stopped responding. I see all the reviews now coming up that they have done this to others as well and now shut down the website too. Be careful! They will probably do this again! My husband did business with this company. They took so much money from him, didn't deliver what he asked for. We tried contacting the company. We are not able to reach to anyone. This is true scam and waste of money. Please save your money. Do your homework and go through business bureau to do your business. This is not read company. This is fake scam. They will take your money and fool you.

They just made away with my $10,000. They created a site that is halfway done and kept asking me for more money. They have now logged me out of basecamp and i do not see the website anywhere. Wow, I can't believe this.

Sales person richard Rivera spoke to us about thos amazing package and me and a friend decided to try it out for the first two weeks we heard from them often then after that it takes them a week and a half to get back to us with questions or things that needed to be done. We spent so much money starting it up when it finally came alive they setup our thing with people from china but on ebay the listing said USA so when people purchase stuff and get tracking number they see it's coming from china and complained to ebay and we had to refund all that money didnt get a refund from the china people and we were charged for shopify and over 200 for ebay listing so we lost all that money when we try to get them to help they told us we were on our own said we needed to upgrade package so that they can manage it but that was all a lie they are scammers please save your hard working money they lied about everything and we could get to them after wards theres alot more to it but that's all am gonna say now... just know that y'all need to find a legitimate business not these screw overs

I'm glad I hired these guys as I was very close to going with another company but for some reason they seemed sketchy. My sales rep did not pressure me at all and the account manager was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I actually received one free week of management to help me with extended training which was great also.

Richard Rivera, the lead salesperson for icommercedev, tried to get me to buy a package for icommercedev's team to manage the day-to-day operations around a week *after* failing to come through to manage the first order.

I was guaranteed 7 days of day-to-day management per month, as well as 6 months of Facebook marketing, Instagram marketing, and a few other forms of marketing. Icommercedev, however, no longer exists, and it seems that the marketing I was guaranteed will not be delivered.

"Mike Young," the director of operations, might actually be a pseudonym for Randy Johnson, of Stratix, LLC, another failed e-commerce company. It's quite possible that he'll come up with another pseudonym for his next business venture.

I paid $3.5k upfront for what was supposed to be a turnkey e-commerce store, with day-to-day management + sales, and I received a half-completed project and minimal responses from a company that seems to have dissolved without even informing its clients of its dissolution.

This is, perhaps, one of the least professional companies I have ever encountered.

Minimally responsive management

I hired icommercedev in the summer to begin my foray into e-commerce. They have helped me through niche choice, have completed a website, and have loaded products into Shopify & Amazon. However, there have been many problems.

Management & senior staff (ie: Mike Young, though this might not be his real name) take a long time to respond to messages. This has led to issues with getting tasks completed on time (my own schedule has also led to issues with timely task completion).

Dropshipping products are sourced from China, which leads to long (approx 3 weeks) shipping times. I wasn't informed that there would be such a lengthy delay in shipping time from the start. Customers on amazon are used to way faster shipping, so I'd be surprised if my store becomes a profitable business. In many ways, I feel that I was misled about the likelihood of this e-commerce business being profitable, but perhaps I'll be proven wrong.

Based on how long everything has taken, I'd guess that the people doing the labor for icommercedev likely underpaid. I hope I'm wrong about this.

I was given a guide to dropshipping & e-commerce. It was disorganized and poorly written. The guide had errors in grammar & sentence structure that made it near impossible to follow. I have no idea of why a company focused on e-commerce businesses in the US would choose to give out a guide to e-commerce using English with such poor structure & grammar.

If I thought the owner of icommercedev was invested in good outcomes for those buying his product, I'd offer editing services. But I don't think the owner really cares about outcomes for customers, so I don't see a point in attempting to help improve upon the quality of his business.

I did my due diligence on this company and two others as well. I selected this one. It is officially 3 months later and I am not ready for the market places. I learned things:

1. My market place listings aren't correct (I had to get an Amazon rep to help me fix things because I am not set up properly and I'm paying $39.99/month... since August, 2019).

2. My Oberlo shipping for some products is not correct (Oberlo informed my that because there are 1,200 products listed, I should just fix the ship from countries as I go).

3. A question was posted by the "Operating Director", on October 7,2019 to EComm the company that helps list products on Amazon. They have not responded, and you cannot tag them in the message board anymore.

4. I contacted all their "positive reviews" listed on the Facebook page. No response since I messaged them on September 8,2019.

5. Per their contract for my $4,000 pro package I get, "Google Ads Campaign Setup (Campaigns & Keywords Setup), Bing Ads Campaign Setup (Campaigns & Keywords Setup), SEO Optimization" I had to contact the ad platforms myself for them to help me set up my ads. No help from iCommerce at all.

6. Per their contract for my $4,000 pro package I get, "Training Material Provided." (This material looks like a copy paste from the actual ad platforms just tweaked to look like they actually wrote it all.)

7. Per their contract for my $4,000 pro package I get, "14 Hours of Store Management (Order Processing & Customer Service)". (I have done all 14 hours plus more myself... fixing what is wrong and trying to generate my own sales.)

8. Per their contract for my $4,000 pro package I get, "Dedicated Account Manager (Provides One on One Mentorship)" I guess this was on September 9,2019, when the "Operating Director" told me I was "overreacting," to things not getting done. (I gave iCommerce until September 16,2019, and things still were not completed.)

9. I called the "Sales" rep on October 17,2019 at 6:03 PM EST, on the cell phone he provided to me. I tried the toll free number but I got a foreign speaking man that had no idea what I was talking about. The "Sales" rep did not give a business greeting when he answered. Instead he held the phone and waited for me to speak and identify who I was before he said anything. (Is this the proper way to answer the phone?)

10. Per their contract for my $4,000 pro package, "Both iCommerceDev as well as client
Agree to a 100% money back guarantee should any of the terms of this
Contract not be honored i. E. section 4. ICommerceDev as well as client also
Agree to a 50% refund will be issued should client not see a single sale within 7
Days of project completion." It's hard to get a sale when my listings are not correct, or my SEO is not relevant, or I had no ads running for some time.

I reached out to the BBB, FTC, and the NYAG. So far the BBB has agreed that they will publish my full review because iCommerce has not responded since I filed my complaint on September 9,2019.

ICommerce did some of the work but as I went back and started to learn on my own, or walk through my Shopify website with support, I discovered things like bad SEO, or incorrect pictures, or product descriptions, or shipping options, that I have to fix as I go. I struggled with writing this because I spent $4,000. I asked for a refund twice and they have not responded to it. The BBB sent correspondence stating I want a refund if they cannot honor the contract. No response from iCommerce. I also did not want to speak bad about a business online because I want to have my own business online.

At this point I would not recommend this business. I feel like I could have done the work myself because of what I am currently still learning.

Update 10/23/2019: Richard Rivera is claiming he is working on a resolution with "his Supervisor." I feel like this is a lie and iCommerce is stalling. I did submit what I am willing to negotiate for. (See screenshots of current negotiations).

Update 10/23/2019, 2:38 PM: I just spoke with Amazon. It seems over 98% of the listings that iCommerce, and EComm completed I cannot list. Why? They need documentation. (See screenshots from my Amazon Seller listing.) I can only list basic things like hair tools, brushes... things that will not be put directly on the body.

Update 10/27/2019, 9:04 PM: Well of course. Richard Rivera, told me this: "The document will be drafted within 24 hours, and need to be signed prior to the refund being processed." (Translation... In order to shut you up, we're going to give you some of your money back. Even though we didn't finish everything.") Do I have an agreement... NOPE! On top of that I got an infraction notice from WISH for $10. I did review my listings. I thought I was in compliance but I guess I was wrong. These listings were uploaded by iCommerce.

Update 10/29/2019: It's now 8:43 AM. No contract. No response from Richard Rivera. So much for the 24 hours and you'll have an agreement. It's 3 days later!

Tip for consumers:
I would not recommend iCommerce.
