"Nice" sales representative (SR) visited my home and appeared to know what he was doing. SR quoted approximately $12,400. When I balked at the price, so he "discounted" to approximately $9,400.
FYI:
The top floor is approximately 1900 ft². The east sides of the home have gutters. The north and south side of the home are not getting gutters. Front of the home needs gutters.
Surprisingly, the install was scheduled quickly for the following Friday.
On Friday the installers did not show up. At 2:00. I sent a text to the SR. The installation manager called me, apologized and said that the gutters would be installed on Sunday.

The installation manager called me back and scheduled for first thing Monday morning.
The installers showed up approximately 2:00. The installer that came to the door literally, not figuratively, looked like he had just crawled out of a gutter: Filthy clothing... The filthy man told me that he didn't think he had a ladder long enough to get to the top of our roof. HE SPIT IN FRONT OF ME. WITHIN THREE FEET OF ME, HE SPIT A LARGE GREEN PLASMA OUT OF HIS MOUTH.
I asked him if he would like a Kleenex. He asked why. I told him that he might need it just in case he had to spit again.
Although my car was not parked in front of thE home, he asked me to move my car. I became increasingly uncomfortable with the situation. I looked up reviews. Of course Leaf Gutter Website had five star reviews. I then consulted Yelp. I believe Leaf Gutter was rated 1.3 stars. Noted on the reviews, warranty and follow up were non-existent. Judging from the appearance and demeanor of the installers, I did not doubt the validity of the reviews.
I asked the installers to leave.
Tip for consumers:
The installation manager told me that the SR was not receiving any money for this job. Being in sales myself, a customer can ask for a discount but that does not affect my commission. In addition, the installation manager told me that the retail price of the gutters for my home is $10,400
Why would the SR initially originally quote $12,400?
There's definitely something wrong with this company.
