I won a listing on liveauctions for $120.12 original pics of kiss from the original photographer that just died. The listing said up to $77 shipping. I figured that was an extreme case when a buyer might be really particualarly anal on how their stuff was packaged! And when the invoice came, i was being charged $77 for shipping! Are you kidding me? 12 pics that weigh 1/64 of a pound that would easily fit in a manilla or padded envelope that you could buy at the post office for a lil over 2 bucks! $6-7 bucks tops for shipping plus shipping materials and i d get all that for $77! I contacted liveauctions to let them know what type of crooks they had on their platform, with the ever so obvious predatory shipping charges but they didnt seem to care that much about what was happening to me! They had no problem, however, getting in touch with me with a complaint that i was being filed upon by the crooked auctions for non payment! Hell no i wasnt gonna pay $77 shipping! They can blacklist me, no prob! And,
Thank god! I almost bid on a nascar jacket that said, up to $124 shipping! Thats more than the jacket was even worth! And, 8 months prior, i won 6 nascar jackets on hibid and shipping was $65 for all 6! So, use caution when using liveauctions cause it was, without a doubt, total predatory shipping from the auctioneer i experienced! How disgusting and without any remorse! I felt sorry for whoever won that nascar jacket... what a racquet!
