I drive through Florence, AL while on my way to destinations east every month. There are cheaper places to eat. But, the great service and steaks are too much for me to not stop. The way in which the service personnel treat you is different from most steak restaurants I go to. That is a reflection of a good manager. Every time I stop by, some actually recognize me and welcome me back. That means a lot when you're on the road as much as I am.

My husband, grandson & I went to the Logan's Roadhouse in Beckley, WV. This used to be our favorite restaurant. We were seated in the area past the bar. The table we were seated at was very dirty and the when we got hold of the back of the chair to pull it out from the table, our hands stuck to them. We had to wipe the seat part off before we could sit down. It was 17 minutes before we were acknowledged. We placed our order and at that time I asked for extra napkins. After about another 40 minutes our food was brought to us. I again asked for extra napkins and my husband asked for Steak Sauce. We were never asked if we would like a refill. My husband never received his steak sauce and we never received our extra napkins. We finished eating and waited approximately 35 minutes, after we had finished eating and stacked our dishes on the side of our table, before we received a check. We have eaten at other Logan's Roadhouse restaurants before and were very pleased. This is our 2nd bad experience at this Logans and we will not be going back.
