I've read all the bad reviews. And yes this company is weird. They called us 5 minutes after we bought our tickets. They tried to tell us a different price for our total tickets. I felt this was a way for them to upswell. I was right. Tell them you will not book your tickets unless it's for the original price when you clicked confirm. They will agree to it. They just call hoping you will agree to the new ticket price increase. Don't agree. They don't make you pay it.
These guys take your money as soon as you make a purchase and then send you an email saying that the reservation is "pending" and you should call. Then when you call, they lie and say that the prices changed while you were filling it out. The new price is (surprise!) much higher. When you try to cancel it, they try to charge you an insanely high cancellation fee. But what are you cancelling? If the prices changed, and no ticket can be bought, what is there to cancel? They also get extremely aggressive and try to force you to pay. A big thing to note is that they are using fake names and imagine people are too stupid to notice. This place should have been shut down ages ago.
I called in trying to get a better rate than what was offered on the airlines website. I spoke with Denver. He offered me a deal about $300 less than the airline. I accepted it and paid the fee. I received a confirmation for the arrangement and the payment. However, I didn't get my itinerary so I called back. I was informed that I would need to wait 24-48 hours for it to confirm. I asked if my flight was guaranteed or if it was just being held. I was told everything was done and I will be on that flight. After a day in a half the money was charged to me, so I called back. Columbus told me I would not be on that flight because it was full, but he could put me on a different flight. I ask why didn't anyone notify me about this. He replied they would have called me later that day. After a few other questions I told him I would book through the airline. He tried to tell me that the price for that flight would cost me $8000 if I book through the airline. I called the airline anyway. Needless to say I was able to get the exact flight I was originally offered. I paid about $120 more, but I was even able to pick my seats. I don't know what their agenda was or what they thought I would fall for, but I think they are scamming people. They are not even giving real names (Denver and Columbus).

Got them through travolic.com, got email from them after booking with booking number. This morning got a call from guy with indian (or pakistani/egypt) accent that they want more money to CONFIRM the tickets) as my tickets are not confirmed. I said to the dude this feels like a scam, he said no it's not (of course!)
I got to call the other 2 numbers on their site and got a girl with dog barking behind that she tried to hide by turning off the microphone)
After 15m of doing nothing she transferred me on what is called the "purchasing department". Which it feels was a guy driving the car)
That dude tried to play the game until I told I heard a dog barking and he said everyone is working from home
And if I want to cancel they will issue a travel credit)) or that I have to call the airline company and cancel it (without even having a ticket #).
So anyway I called Lufthansa and guess what we're not even on a waitlist by using that booking agency # in the email.
So go to your credit card company and cancel there if you get the payment on the card.
Also travolic.com aggregator has no US phone numbers - it's the company from Egypt. So I guess they're also a part of the scam scheme.
Use cheapoair.com instead.
They suck you in with a lot fair then say there will be an alternate date for your travel.
Well, it taught me a good lesson.

I just narrowly averted this scam. Air fare was too good to be true, but I booked anyway. What booking company waits more than 24 hours before sending you your ticket info and verification? So I looked up reviews, and THIS. Called the company, and an Indian woman answered and tried to act like it was just the way they do things. Today I called my credit card company and blocked payment, seeing in here how worse things could get. Don't do business with these people, they have no conscience.
Trust me... unless you're willing to accept unplanned and unannounced itinerary changes, along with additional charges, ignore LookupFare now and forever. They jacked our travel group around by changing our itineraries without notifying us and then tacking on additional charges, saying the flight prices increased. Their customer service is as bad as the other reviews indicate. Not sure how they can continue to be in business. All I can do is warn others so they can avoid the travel nightmare mistake that my team had to endure.
Tip for consumers:
Trust me... Lookupfare is a scam business that should be avoided... period!
So I like everyone else checked reviews of the site beforehand. I work in hotels so the travel industry is at the heart of my core. That being said I am very and I mean very careful when I book anything. When I tell you that I saw a deal $500 cheaper than Virgin Atlantic's actual website I was skeptical. I went ahead and booked and it is legit. I've confirmed my booking with the airline and saved $500. I will seriously only ever book via lookupfare.com moving forward. I know that I am getting an amazing deal and the price cannot be beat. Please see screenshots of the prices below if you don't believe me.
I am literally trying right now to book my flight, of course their advertised price was fake. No 24 hour cancellation. No credit for the baggage charges.

Flight/Airline tickets
I was very weary of booking my flights on this website as several other attempts at other sites were advertising cheap fares but when I booked they all were bait and switch fares. But I booked my flight for 2 passengers on Lookupfare and received a confirmation from the airlines in under 24 hours. I had saved over $600. I hadn't received seat assignments and tried calling the airlines directly and had over a 2 hour wait. So I called customer service at Lookupfare and was answered immediately! My seats were assigned immediately. I will definitely use this website again for future travel plans

Threatened By Marselius today after my review
We purchased a round trip Seattle to Istanbul on March 6th for March 16 depart and 3/26 return. We received a text from Lufthansa 1 segments of our return flight Munich to Chicago is cancelled do to Strike. I called lookupfare.com immediately customer service denied and said your flight confirmed do not worry I told her Lufthansa web site shows cancellation and replied do not worry, next day I received another text from Sunexpress and said due strike your Istanbul to Munich flight cancelled. I called again lookupfare again he denied any cancellation, on 3/25 lookupfare called and said your flight cancelled but do not worry we are looking for alternative flight for you after long wait they said nothing available on 3/26 but don't worry we will find a flight then offered Air Lingus and Emirates flight which is more then $1800 one way return flight on 3/28. While I was on the phone with them I find tickets on Turkish airlines $1364 for two on 3/26 he said those are stand by tickets and not confirmed while I was on the phone with them those tickets sold out, finally I had to spend another 2 days in Istanbul pay for hotel and food and missed 2 days from work and solution given you may received some $600 to $800 total refund. Terrible company if there are no star available I will give them 0 star.I got a call from luukupfare today and got Threatened by Marselious if I don't take my fair review they will block my refund which I will be receiving from United Airline

This website is a scam, the same man answered all 3 different numbers. If you truly wanted to prevent a scam than you should have called the number on file. Secondly no one sends a pic of a credit card through email. I don't care if it's just 4 numbers showing of credit card. That's not good business practice. I am glad I booked with another airline and averted your scam service. Now I don't feel safe with my card information. Praying I don't wake up and you take all my money.
This company is a fraud. Please save your money and headaches.
I purchased an airline ticket and paid extra for a refundable ticket now they refuse to refund the price of ny ticket.
FRAUD!
I wish they had 0 stars.
I hate to even give them one!
Nightmare. Endless calls, no resolution to ticketing/credit card charging issues.
I regret we ever used these people. Save yourself the time and anxiety and either book directly with the airline (often just as cheap), or use a third party with a better reputation - which would be just about anybody.
Tip for consumers:
Don't.
I had very worst experience and there customer service is also too bad they say, they will put on hold for 2 mins but they put for 30 mins. They dont know what they are doing. When you call them you can hear some people behind the call, they are laughing and talking in their native language. They always tells you fake names. Anyone can judge them with their language accent.
Please dont trust them.
If I had to choose a employee, I would hope there would be someone exactly like Vickie Simpson to choose from. What a polite, helpful gentleman. Super professional and seriously, they just don't come around that often like him. After hrs, he happened to be the one that answered my last call and made things a breeze and I say last call because there was simply not a thing left to do after he helped me. I hope he gets a big raise soon because he deserves it. Everyone was nice but Vickie excelled.
Thank you Cheapflights
Be very careful with these people. False promises, never return calls or give correct information. Very unprofessional people. They didn't book my flight correctly, then when I called to cancel they where giving me the runaround about it. Not till I got loud with them they canceled but still waiting on an email confirming those details. STAY AWAY!
Tip for consumers:
Stay away!!! They’re scammers!!!

Booking a flight
Please, do not buy from them. It is a scam. They book your flight and they do not confirm or issue any ticket. They hold the booking as a ransom to force you to renegotiate the price. They argued the Airline is responsible when they are the broker. They hold the booking until it is too late to get a better option elsewhere. I flight 3 to 4 times a year internationally and this is the first time I face this type of scam.

My original flight was sold out but when I called to cancel, not only did Jordan find me a better flight on (what I consider a better airline than the original booking), he got me a better departure and arrival time with non stop service. I LOVE IT! Thank you so much Jordan! :)
Booked with them by mistake. After flight was cancelled requested money back. Took hours of phone calls, many falls promises. Finally after 8 months & threat of legal action, received some money back. They kept an exorbitant amount for service fee. WHAT SERVICE, I wonder.

What a $#*! show this has been. When I originally tried to book a flight there where 5 seats left but of course someone bought the last seat just as I booked. I was told there where still seats in " Economy Plus" at a slightly higher fee, $30 for more leg room sounded good... Every seat on the plane was ECONOMY there was no upgrading. They site lists a 24/7 number to call but nobody answers or returns messages. They booked the wrong return date so I had to pay extra to the airline to change it even though I purchased travel insurance with my ticket. If I could leave zero stars I would. This site is a scam and I can't say enough bad things about them.
Gabriel was very rude. When I called he added $20 tax to the advertised total amount. From $167.99 to 187.99.And when I said no, he then said make it $172.99. Very shady operator. This was yesterday Aug 24,2022.
Tip for consumers:
Stick with big name travel agents, such as Priceline,Expedia,Travelocity.
