Howard Johnson

I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson Motel in Kent Washington and I have to say it was one of the best motels that is comfortable as far as the bed being very soft not hard like other motels I've visited! The amenities including the continental breakfast the friendly people, the service, I give it all a five star! I stayed there two days and will stay there in the furure it is a very well maintained property inside and out!

I'm here now. When we got here, the desk clerk was very unpleasant. We went up to our room through the dirty carpeted halls. Walked into the room, went to put the luggage down by the bed and hit my leg on a metal bar sticking out and cut my ankle. We called down to the desk and asked for a first aid kit and the desk clerk brought a dirty broken kit with a couple bandaids in it and proceeded to tell us "I just run the desk". I'm afraid that I will get an infection. I'm calling a lawyer when I get home just in case. An apology or something would have been nice. I was in the restaurant business and customer service does mean a lot. I would not recommend this place for a farm animal hotel. And by the way, a bag breakfast with a wilted apple and a bottle of water is disgusting, especially for what you charge for a room in this so called hotel. I specifically asked for no smoking and as soon as I got off the elevator, the cigarette smell was very strong. I picked this hotel because of an indoor pool, but apparently you are too cheap to keep it open after summer. ( It's an indoor pool) We have a 15 yo that was looking forward to playing in the (indoor) pool. Someone needs to get out of your cushy office and look around your meal ticket. Hopefully you will have to look for another job soon, because you're not doing well at this one.
