Don't bother going to purchase a car from rightway. Purchased a vehicle and ended up being back at the dealership a week later with a messed up headlight with water in it and a taillight that flickered with water in it. The passenger door peeling apart.
A relative also purchased and ended up with a flat tire driving it home and a week later the engine light came on. Both cars were takin back to the dealership for them to basically tell you it is your problem. They don't check their cars as claimed and they don't bother to fix any issues a week after purchasing. Now have to fork out over 400 dollars to replace to lights for front and back. Have a cracked fog light that we got blamed for doing. It was nighttime when car was purchased and didn't see the passenger fog light was severely cracked. Also the guy they have in the garage at the Joliet Illinois Rightway. States he doesn't work for Rightway and refuses to let females be back there to listen to him Make excuses about why your car had issues or accuses u of causing those said issues and there is nothing he can do for ya. You own it its now your problem and you now have to pay for all the problems even tho u had it only for a week. What a joke this place is! Like I said don't go here you will regret it.

I purchased a 2014 VW CC from Rightway. I have debated whether writing a comment was a good idea, but here it goes. So I took the car to them due to when they sold me the vehicle Ammeer (a worker there, his desk is the first one to the left when you walk through the main doors) he told me it was a censor and that was why ALL the lights were on the dash. He convinced me that it was an easy fix. So I took the car back to them and they had the car for 2 days. I get a text message from Amear that stated they found out the issue was a censor. I was confused because we already knew it was the censor and they were supposed to have ordered the part to have it be an easy fix. So they give me the car back and tell me I need to bring it back when the censor gets there. So about a week and a half later he tells me that its there and I can bring the car back. So I take the vehicle back and they told me it would be a few days. After THREE WEEKS they finally tell me its done and I can come pick it up Monday after work. Then Ammear texts me and said that the tire has a bump in it and needs replaced so I turn around and not go to pick it up because something else was wrong with it. So I go from Medina Oh to Tallmadge Oh to pick it up the next day. I go to pull of the lot and the car didn't stop like the brakes weren't working so I turn the vehicle around and leave it there. I called Kelly in the morning who is the boss of right way and she said that she will send it back to her guys after Kelly and Ammear both stated that the car was 100% done. So Kelly calls me yesterday and tells me that the vehicle was driven by 3 different people and they said the car is perfect. Yesterday I drive off the lot and the car is making a horrible loud sound, it was coming from the front of the car, I decided to take the car to NAPA and North High Auto in
Wadsworth. They BOTH told me that the wheel Barings are bad. I call Kelly this morning and she tells me that they cant bring my car back in. I am outraged by the lack of customer service any of those people working there have. If I could I would get out of this loan ASAP and still debating whether I need to get a lawyer because I was almost hit pulling of the lot on Tuesday when the vehicle didn't stop. All in all Kelly said that basically she didn't believe me because the other people drove it. Well unless those people are incompetent and or lack of hearing. Anyone would have noticed the LOUD sound coming from the breaks and or feeling the Barings because it is so bad that anyone would notice it. So the mechanic shop is calling Kelly today to get a copy of the warranty to see if they can fix it and have it be covered. I will keep this review updated as this progresses. But overall DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM RIGHTWAY. Ammear is a liar for instance he was supposed to fix the plastic piece underneath the driver seat. He was texting me as he was fixing it and he said on his last text that he got it and it was securely fixed. Those were the exact words. I just noticed this morning all this man did was shove the plastic piece underneath the seat and did not fix a dam thing. This is my first car loan and I am so furious with these people that I am still considering hiring a lawyer because they risked my safety when the brakes did not stop as I was going into traffic. What if I had a kid in the car and was hit due to their lack of customer safety. I will never purchase another vehicle from them again and in 2 years I am done with this place. I can't believe the customer service here and I cant believe how Ammear sold me a bunch of Bullcrap. So do not buy fro m them you WILL REGRET IT!

Let me just start off by saying that Right way is definitely the wrong way to go. I purchased a 2004 alero back in 2014. The sales clerk Jason let me test drive it and it seemed to be alright when I drove it. By his word, he said that their maintenance crew highly inspected the vehicle. Not after a short month later, I was driving to work and it stalled out in the middle of the road. I had to push it into the parking lot and keep it over night until I was able to have it towed. I found out there was a faulty battery from a company I never even heard of and the fact that it was leaking gasoline. I had both fixed and replaced with usual oil check ups. I did not drive this car in winter of 2014 only to the reasons that even after I replaced the battery, it still would stall on me. I couldn't go to a place without having the car being jumped. So when it warmed up I started driving it again. There was not to many issues but it was consuming a lot of gas then normal. Then in may of 2015, I started noticing that I had a difficult time steering the wheel so I had pushed it over into a near by maintenance dealer. After inspecting the vehicle again it was still leaking gas and started leaking oil. The car started smoking on me. The overall analysis of the vehicle was a shot out muffler and apparently the engine cradle had rotted out. It was the original. I called very concerned and upset to the dealership about my vehicle and they were really rude basically saying I was irresponsible for consuming this vehicle even though I had been up to date on my current payments and everything. I went into the office to see if they could set me up with another vehicle so I had to redo my paperwork through them. Right way sent me a letter through the mail asking the same personal information that I recently just updated with them. Why would I need to do that? I asked where the sales person Jason was since he sold me the vehicle and only for them to tell me he was fired. I understand that owning a car comes with responsibility and maintenance, however you're going to tell me that within less then a year of owning the vehicle that the entire engine cradle and suspension was rotted out and that I put about 11,000 miles on a vehicle which is about average per year. Yeah of course I did im a college student and need to get to work. How the hell else was I suppose to get there? Never buy from this $#*!ty company. The worse service ever. If you want a $#*!ty car and pay astronomical prices for one then right way is for you. However, just stay the hell away from that $#*!ty business it will only help you in the long run. This is coming from someone who knows and has experienced it.
-Thank you
