I am writing this review because Marisa lacks the professionalism to answer e-mails or take responsibility for complaints against her. Beware when considering this Photographer/Videographer for your wedding day. Marisa and her team will be friendly (though severely slow) up until your most precious day, but when the day comes and her work begins you will see her true colors. My experience with this Photographer/Videographer (duo with her husband) was BEYOND BAD, it was the kind of NIGHTMARE where you wake up crying with your heart pounding uncontrollably, except this was real. First, let me say that the only reason we announced "NO PHONES" during our ceremony was because we trusted this team to capture the discussed and agreed upon materials (SEE COPIED E-MAIL BELOW for details).

Following the wedding, it was near impossible to get the promised materials in a timely manner or even at all because she has GHOSTED US.
· She DID NOT DELIVER ON TIME. She took NO INITIATIVE to deliver and took 5 months for what was contracted at 10 weeks, and I had to keep asking for it while trying to keep my cool for FIVE MONTHS;
· DID NOT DELIVER ALL THAT WAS PROMISED - We paid for 8 hours of videography, and all we received was a Vimeo link of 5 chopped up minutes of our 30 minute ceremony and some poorly captured speech footage with the insistence that she "delivered" everything. This is not "RAW FOOTAGE" by the way, which is uncut/unedited video and was contracted;
· QUALITY OF VIDEOGRAPHY WAS LAUGHABLE for a service she is attempting to sell for $4,000 on her website. It was shaky, out of focus, choppy, and grainy. Someone could have done a better job on their phones, and also had the sense not to cut it. It appears she just told her husband who has absolutely NO TALENT for photography or videography to capture our WEDDING VIDEO - SEE ATTACHED IMAGES and CLIP; and
· PROMISED PHOTOS WERE NEVER DELIVERED. After she sent the embarrassing video footage, she ghosted us and refused to send previously promised color versions of photos she desaturated to B&W.
· Furthermore, AN ENTIRE SET OF PHOTOS INCLUDED A PIPE SHE DIDN'T BOTHER TO EDIT OUT. You will see the true pride she takes in the work she delivers (see attached images). The pipe can be very easily cleaned out of the photos, but her paperwork stipulates that client doesn't edit the photos... well, this is what you will get, hang it on your wall.
· SHE TRIED TO REMOVE OUR SECOND SHOOTER CLAUSE when updating contracts due to COVID! Luckily, we read and compared our contracts to the original to make sure everything was correct and our package was complete. We should have seen this RED FLAG right away, but had already paid a chunk of money.

Professionalism went out the door the day my payments were finalized. After that, it was a hostage situation where she has kept my precious memories hostage, refusing communicate and to deliver what was remaining of our photos and videos to us. Furthermore, we have NO WATCHABLE VIDEO OF OUR CEREMONY. Our friend got ordained and worked extremely hard to deliver a WONDERFUL CEREMONY and we have no video to share with him. NO VIDEO OF OUR VOWS. We tried to negotiate with her and her team but were met with being ignored and the denial of the validity of our complaints. The only course of action we have is to share here.
