I recently had an extremely frustrating experience with the online brand My Mum Made It, and I feel compelled to share my negative review to warn others about their poor customer service and unprofessional behavior. From start to finish, my interaction with this company left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied.

First and foremost, My Mum Made It claims to have a processing and shipping time of 1-3 days. However, my order was not shipped until a staggering 35 days after my initial purchase. This excessive delay is completely unacceptable, especially considering the promised timeframe. I understand that delays can happen, but the lack of communication from the company regarding the delay was incredibly frustrating.

Frustrated by the extensive wait and feeling the need to move on, I decided to contact the customer support team to cancel my order and request a refund. To my utter dismay, my request for cancellation and refund was completely ignored. Despite my multiple attempts to reach out and clarify my situation, I received no response whatsoever. It is utterly disappointing that a company would neglect their customers' requests in such a callous manner.

When I finally managed to get a response from My Mum Made It's customer support team regarding my request for a refund, their proposed solution was utterly unreasonable and burdensome. They informed me that the only way I could receive a refund is if I returned my order at my own expense, paying for the exorbitant shipping charges. It is baffling that they expected me to bear the cost and inconvenience for a situation that was entirely their fault. They should have taken responsibility for their failure to fulfill my order within the promised timeframe and canceled it promptly, sparing me from this unnecessary hassle.

This blatant attempt to shift the financial burden onto the customer further demonstrates My Mum Made It's lack of accountability and disregard for customer satisfaction. It is evident that they prioritize their own profit over ensuring a positive and fair shopping experience for their customers. This unreasonable refund policy only adds insult to injury and is yet another reason why I strongly advise against buying from this brand.

Considering the significant delays, the lack of communication, the neglected requests for cancellation and refund, and the unjust refund policy, My Mum Made It has proven itself to be an unreliable and untrustworthy company. Save yourself the frustration and disappointment by seeking out alternative brands that prioritize customer satisfaction and uphold their promises.

Extremely slow postage from china without real tracking. I think they lost my parcel. Don't buy from them expecting it'll come cause it probably won't

Just like most of the customers at MMMI, I decided to purchase the popular pink puffer tote. I pre ordered some other things that weren't to be shipped for another week. I get hit with customs fees that were larger than expected so I decide to contact them about cancelling my pre orders. Come to find out they apparently already have shipped the pre ordered items out. Like what? How does that make sense. It seemed like an excuse to avoid giving me a refund. I have read a couple reviews on a few websites and it is the same "terrible customer service" and "no refunds" complaints. A woman named Aly is in charge of replying to emails for MMMI, she is extremely unprofessional and close-minded. It takes a lot of emails for them to even reply! This is a money hungry company that will do anything and everything to ensure they keep every penny you give them. Unless you're a social media influencer or well known, they do not care about you. The financial burden is ultimately placed on their customers. This so-called business is shameful and a total scam. As cute as the puffer bag you want is, please save yourself all the stress and purchase from a company who cares about the well being of their customers.

Sooo I have got a storyyy about this company. In august 2021, I made the bad decision to make an order with my mum made it. I placed an order for their famous joggers and matching long sleeve shirts and paid around 370 USD and 50 USD of duties for a total of 420 USD.

I get the order and personally I was disappointed with the fitting: the joggers were super tight on the waist and uncomfortable (which is whatever maybe I should have sized up my regular size) but also the shirts were made in a way where they fell off the shoulders constantly… i knew I would never wear them because of these issues so I decided to return them to get a refund.

I go return the package by the post and I was shocked at how much it costs me to return the package from Canada to China: around 40 USD for non tracked package and about 70 USD for tracked package. In my mind im thinking 70 USD is exaggerated to return items I don't like and I never had problems returning things so I decide to go with the non tracked package and pay 40 USD. The post told me it would take 3 to 6 months to get to them since it was by boat and during covid times so I stayed patient.

Over the next months, I checked with them multiple times and they kept telling me that they did not get my return and since I did not get tracking, they could not tell me where it was or give me my refund. I felt helpless and so regretful of not taking the tracked package option (even though it was hella expensive). At that point I am thinking the package is lost when in June 2022, I get a note from the post saying I have a package waiting for me. I go to the post and what do I find? THAT DAMN PACKAGE returned back to me with a note saying the package was "unclaimed".

So I am found with this package yet again with items I don't like again and I do not know what to do. I contact them explaining the whole story and ask them if they would take my return if I sent it back WITH TRACKING this time and they say yes no problem they'll do my refund etc. So I am here thinking I don't have anything better to do with these clothes, I still want my refund since its quite a lot of money and giving them the benefit of the doubt that the package might have not gotten to them.

SO I PAY SHIPPING AGAIN like a dumbass I think alright if I just get tracking I am assured my refund so I pay about 70 USD MORE to ship it to them again in July 2022. During the next months, i am tracking the item, seeing its progress and in October 2022, it finally says it is delivered to destination. I think perfect! Here goes my refund...lol. I contact them and they tell me that they're having technical issues refunding me. After that, they have been barely replying back to my emails saying that "they'll get back to me shortly" and "fixing this soon" and then never actually refunding me.

I sent them sooo many emails and I'm not even getting replies at this point (we're in January right now btw). They robbed me of so much money (around 530 USD) and I regret ever placing that order in the first place and trusting that this was a good brand. Keep this in mind, u might be lucky and this won't happen to you, but seeing these reviews confirmed for me that this is a company that robs people on the daily.

I am so glad I did not end up going through and buying the pink puffer tote from my mum made it. They are shady af! So let me tell you all a little story. And I will be outing accounts on Instagram knowingly promoting this company even tho they know it's bad. So the Instagram account geminigf333 posts photos of the pink puffer tote from my mum made it all the time. I wondered how they got this bag when every review I've read from the place said they didn't ever receive it. So, I asked them in a very polite way just that question. I said (and I'm paraphrasing) "I love your bag! But every review I've seen from the site it's sold on is horrible! No one seems to be happy with their purchase! You're like the only person I've seen manage to get that bag and it actually come or not come damaged, you're lucky *laughing emoji*…" I was not being rude just left a silly comment with a silly observation. My comment got DELETED! I'm sure if I asked why they'd just block me! So why bother? It is clear there are many shady POS on Instagram promoting this company. And when you call the company out, the accounts promoting them delete those comments. They don't let reviews on their website. And they criminally overcharge for ALL their products. Their bag is made out of recycled polyester and they're selling it for $130 once you include shipping and tax! Just get a Chinese knockoff on Amazon! They're just $26 and JUST AS NICE! Save your money and don't let yourself be screwed over by the Instagram aesthetic accounts pushing all of us to buy from this place. Don't let them rip you off! I didn't!

I ordered from here about a month ago. The website said my order would be shipped out after 7 days. I got a kind email when I asked where my order was initially. More time went by and I did not get an email. I emailed them several times within the next couple weeks and my emails were left unanswered. I had to take the measure of contacting them on instagram in order to get their attention. She told me my order would ship within two days. It did not. I sent a complaint email and DM to their email and instagram. I think solely because I $#*!ed about it, they finally sent my order. After all of that, I received some crappy clothing. I plan to keep 2 of the 4 that I ordered (if theyll take my returns). I tried on one of the tanks and the strap immediately snapped off. The quality was horrible (the rouched cream tank) and even had raw edges on the fabric on the inside of the garment. It looked like it took all of five minutes to make and the fabric looks like a polyester table cloth. My other issue was with a plain black tank that was extremely ill fitting. The straps are extremely far apart and sit at the very edge of my armpits. The other 2 pieces are ok and I plan to keep them since this was such a hassle. This company is extremely unorganized and unprofessional. They dont answer emails or send out orders on time. Their Instagram is what gets them customers and it is a false depiction of their products. They just get good photos of crappy clothing in order to keep a following. Do not expect to receive what you see on their Instagram. They do a very good job of presenting their brand and that is the only compliment I could give. However, its just not accurate. To note, the clothing doesnt even have labels that say their brand name OR come with tags. Its just straight from a warehouse in China. Spend the extra money on reliable brands with good design and quality product! The idea is there but the execution is terrible. Im going to guess the designer can design well but has no business skills whatsoever. High disorganization all around. A good waste of $100 but I learned my lesson!
