I visited this one because it pops up as the first on the Google search for "netbooks". Someone was smart enough to grab the domain name, apparently. The site promotes itself as offering deals and reviews, though in my visit I didn't find any reviews. However I did find a number of deals, and being a blog, these articles are followed up by some user comment which may be as useful as a review - or not. The site begins by pushing "swoopo" (http://www.sitejabber.com/reviews/www.swoopo.com), one of those gambling / auction sites where you pay to bid. So that's a black mark, right there. Aside from that, it all seems to be a vehicle for various affiliations with sellers. There are likely to be some good deals here, as there are on many other sites that collect price information in real time from retailers. But you will need to go elsewhere for in-depth product information. At the time of writing, the demand for netbooks has tailed off considerably and some people are viewing them as *so* 2009, but there's still a place for them until cheaper and more flexible tablets come along. It's a crowded market, so I'd advise research and reading user reviews before taking the plunge. If this site had incorporated more information to assist prospective buyers, it might have risen above a "meh".
