The app whether in a browser or on Firestick is clunky and cluttered. It does not show when a new episode is ready, and it doesn't always show accurately which episodes have been watched. Used to be awesome as paid streaming service, but now they expect you to pay AND have commercials shoved down your throat. No thanks, especially after 5 commercials in a row. Even 3 is too many, but 5?!? 1 maybe I could let slide, but not really if I am paying. Too bad, so sad, I'm done. Off to watch shows on my paid subscription channels that don't force commercials on me.

This is the WORST app I've ever used. It freezes every 30 minutes, then kicks me out, and when I try to watch a show at a later time it will literally jump forward or jump back without me touching the controls! It's maddening. I've deleted and redownloaded the app and updated my Firestick. And I know it's not my internet because EVERY other app works just fine. I need to find a new way to watch my shows and delete this stupid app.
Recently married and moved into together, both of us have PP. The company has a no refund policy when it comes to renewals.
Few original shows... old worn-out movies no different than basic cable. Yellowstone was my reason for purchase... it's done an so am I.

Just about everything Taylor Sheridan is pretty good, however only releasing one episode a week and the crazy amount of commercials, ensures I'll continue to sub and unsub as I see fit for Sheridan's series. Even the premiere subscription has commercials and lots of them.
Stay away from this company unless you want to end up having to go through the hassle of cancelling your credit card and getting a new one since the company will ignore any evidence of fraud or false charges regardless of your due diligence. Paramount+ will keep on charging you and then claim they can't seem to find your account, so they can keep on charging you. The actions may in fact be criminal since they have a legal obligation to correct any fraudulent activity once they have been notified about it.

I've been a customer now for about 4 months. Since is signed up, I've encountered NUMEROUS ads and the inability to 'locate' where I have left off on a show, without having to locate it again via FF. And, the numerous stops while watching a program, and not knowing what the program is doing (searching for content, signal, intelligence) is infuriating! It just stops and goes dark! My wi-fi singal is strong. The inability of Paramount+ to provide adequate signal/processes, at their cost, will nor incur a second subscription!
Too much fake Covid Pfizer ads. Fed up with it.

I just was charged 109.00 for a service I DID NOT OK. I have Amazon, why do I want Paramount plus. I ordered it 4 plus years ago and I have had No Access to this for 3 years.Have called my bank to dispute these charges. Also contacted local TV station regarding this matter.Just where do you get off randomly charging me for a service that I did not ok.Overall rating is ZERO!
Saw a commercial for Paramount Plus and decided to give it a try. Netflix and Disney Plus were good, so I thought paramount would be alright to. WRONG, had paramount for a month, for free and it worked ok. As soon as I started payjng for it, that's when the app crashed. Everytime I tried watching something, it would either take 2 to 3 minutes or crash. WHAT A JOKE. Tried getting help and doing everything the online troubleshooting said. Nothing helped. So PLEASE DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY
I would give zero starts if I could. It has always been buggy, but now it is unusable. The minute it goes to commercial it starts to loop. The fixes they tell you to try don't work. I have tried everything. Worst streaming app ever. I don't have this problem with my other apps. So I guess I am done watching CBS shows. No big loss.

You definitely get what you pay for. This is literally one of the worst viewing experiences I have ever had. If this was a brand new platform, I would understand. But this is a multi-billion dollar company that can't make a working video streaming platform. So many errors that happen when watching.
I paid for the ad free service, it was not as free, the app was very very glitchy and there were virtually no shows that did not start with an ad. Worst off I canceled my service on the last date, they tried charging me for another year. I had to contact customer service to tell them to cancel it effective immediately, so if you cancel on the date, watch your account, they get sneaky.
I went with Paramount Plus to get that extra NFL 4:00 game. I don't care about what else they have to offer. This is what I was led to believe.
With Paramount I got the 1:00 NFL game. I am a total football freak. This is where I choose to spend my TV attention. I went with Paramount Plus so I could get the 4:00 game. All they had to offer through CBS typically.
I have a smart TV which basically is an older smart TV and she barely got her GED so I needed an Amazon fire stick to kick her up a notch. I knew that I did that. I was totally on that way before my choices. With all of the fragmented offerings of NFL. With what I watch as a human being as a one person family. I didn't want all of the things that are offered from a thousand different places because no one plays offered me total football without an exponential price that would put me under.
So I took my Amazon prime or I knew I would get my Thursday night football. I went with peacock 599 or I knew I would get my Sunday night football
I went ahead and for the periods of Monday Night football added sling and though they think they offer you everything they don't. So I went with the one package so I'm paying $10 a week for Monday night football. Don't buy into that. They offer you fox because nobody offers Fox unless you're with fubo, YouTube or Hulu.
So there I've got my Monday Night football. I can turn off slang after Monday night. Football $10 a week is better than a bar at Eastern standard Time being out that late at night with a kickoff after 8:00 p.m. I'd rather be home. I went with that. I choose that I'm worth that...
But this paramount gave me the 1:00 p.m. Eastern standard time. One game CBS.
If I upgraded to Paramount Plus
I would get both the early game and the 4:00 game cbs... And oh no, oh no!. Not a freaking chance they're taking the money immediately out of my account. And I get every other 4:00 game because it's bumped out by soccer or whatever. In other words if I'm paramount plus I get to choose don't I? I'm paying the price and am I not?... Doesn't matter. I spent two times 45 minutes on hold, getting kicked off, kicked out recalled redialed. Getting nowhere. Have to play the game if you don't push the right buttons, while you're on. Hold with them trying to redirect you to a non-person interaction. You will not have only wasted your breath, but if you don't hit the right number at the right time, you get sent back around in the circle and never a human being. And if you don't respond and hit zero zero demanding an operator. Hoping for a live human. The line will simply disconnect. This is happened the first week of Paramount Plus and now the third week of Paramount Plus I logged in logged back out. Did every freaking hoop that they said and this week when I finally got a live operator? I'm sorry that's games not offered in your area I said but your paramount+ you're offering me CBS there's two games going on at this time. I want one of them. I'm sorry ma'am. Maybe next week. Have a nice day. Are you freaking kidding me so why am I paying that upgraded price?.
I don't need movies. I have a thousand DVDs that I watch from my bedroom. The only time I'm sitting in my living room is for the NFL and this is my season. And what are you offering me? What you offered me and what you're giving me are two different things when I'm paying for and what I'm getting are two different things. What do you have to say about that?. I am freaking done with these people that are trying to nibble at our sides, monetarily and giving us nothing. Nothing to count on. I only chose this because I thought I could count on that second game. Oh so now I'm going to pay that extra money and I get every other or every other game that they feel like. Why am I paying extra money then? I am so mad and disappointed with a customer service and what they offer for what they charge. I'm sorry, I'm sure you can find much more from another site but do not choose Paramount Plus unless you want to go with Paramount minus

Constantly freezing on football games. I checked with technical support and they said my internet connection was weak but that isn't the case because it's only on football games. Hopefully the NFL doesn't use this network next season
As others have stated, the Paramount + app on my Firestick is awful. It "forgets" where I was in a series. I regularly get freezes and the rotating wait arrow. Sometime it will stop in the middle of a show with an error message. While it is possible to watch the content, it is just aggravating when compared to every other streaming app I've used. The strange part is P+ made themselves the home of Star Trek. For that audience the need to be the leader in user interface, not the industry laggard!
BTW. — After typing this I see this wants proof of purchase and photos. Really? I have better things to do then take photos of TV screen error messages and route around for proof of purchase.
I was offered a month trial extension to my month trial, and it was not honored. I was charged a month earlier than I was told, and now I have to pay for something I never used. I was told that the policy does not allow for refunds and will therefore not honor the trial period I was offered. I will never use Paramount+ now on principal and will make sure to warn anyone who will listen to me to never sign up for their subscription or at least be weary if they ever offer anything because they do not keep their word. Literally the support agent, Jerome, admitted that I was offered a 2nd month, but even though I was charged early I could not receive a refund. This is deceptive and wrong. I'm furious.
As the title states, Paramount+ is just one big commercial. You'll get 4-6 minutes of show in between the 1-5 minute ad breaks. I'd estimate there is 10-15+ minutes of commercials per each 40 minute episode. An episode I watched recently was jam packed with NINE commercial breaks in a 40 minute episode.
The most frustrating thing is that they make you watch an ad at the end of every single episode, before you can move onto the next. At this point, the service should be called Commercial+.
What's worse, the app is extremely buggy! I've encountered many glitches that force me to repeat ads I've already watched. The app forgets my progress, and you guessed it, you then have to rewatch the ads! Not to mention the random crashes and the frequent buffering, which is not caused by my internet! Everything else streams just fine.
Paramount+ is also lacking in content selection. There are only 2-3 titles I care anything about. Once I'm done with those, I'm done with this app.

Don't use it if you're easily annoyed by commercials, glitches/bugs, or if you're not into Star Trek.

On 9/2/23 I signed up for a 7 day free trial period with Paramount Plus. I signed up for monthly billing to get Paramount Plus & showtime. Then I upgraded, on the same day, to annual billing for Paramount Plus & Showtime. My free trial period was taken away and my credit card was billed immediately the same day. Paramount said if you change your plan before your offer period has ended, you lose the 7 day trial period and be charged the new plan price immediately. Where is my 7 day free trial period for my new plan which benefits paramount because they get all their money up front. This is BS and their crappy policy needs to be changed. Seems like they are more interested in money than helping you. You have to email them about your concerns because there is no phone number to call.
Where to begin, I first used the phone app on my Samsung, I would constantly get errors or the app would just crash with no message at all. I got told by support to try use another device (good fix team), so I did just that. The Apple TV, everything works great.APART from paramount plus, the video and audio weren't synced, couldn't hear the actors voices only background noise and explosions ect. It is a terrible app, I have since deleted it and they cancelled my account like a asked them to, but they didn't reply to anything I said haha. Everything about this app is an absolute joke, Netflix, Stan, Amazon, anything, just avoid Paramount+. If you do.goodluck.

The app does not work even after the troubleshooting from paramount. They will not issue refunds and in fact disconnected me multiple times when i asked if I could be credited for the time i haven't been able to watch their service. Sure its only $14.99 but they shouldn't be taking that from people knowing their service is faulty.
I have Walmart plus so it comes with it. I looked for a way to upgrade and you cannot. I am so tired of seeing the same commercials every show over and over and over and the commercials don't even pertain to me.
