I have been buying parts from PMP for over 10 years now. From engines/transmissions/entire interiors, etc… they always have what I need or will get it and notify me. If an issue ever popped up, Pete would always make it right. The employees are also very helpful when a part needs to be pulled or helping narrow down an interchangeable part if the exact vehicle isn't in inventory to pull from. A+! *photo attached of my old 09 Forester. Was kept alive at 359,000+ Miles and rebuilt most of it with parts pulled from PMP!
They may "know" what they are talking about and doing, but everytime I'm here I have to come back. Constant issues with parts not being correct or accurate. Typically have no problems swapping the part for me, but beyond tired of coming here 2 or 3 times to get the part needed even after Pete's "oh yea it's the right one" bull$#*!.

Best place for used subaru parts. Great prices and wide selection of parts. Everyone I have dealt with has been friendly and helpful. And you wont find a used parts supplier that is more familiar and knowledgeable about subarus. Thanks pete and the whole staff for keeping me coming back for almost 10 years now.
Products used:
I have purchased everything from engine assemblies to nuts and bolts and plastic clips.
Good price on engine, however arrived they tried giving me the wrong engine(evidently employee error) drove two hours for nothing, second I put marks on the engine I bought the day I bought it to know it was my engine, marks weren't there upon arrival, third; headgasket blew in a week, re-did it when doing the cam timing the cam gears were on wrong, so they didn't have it timed to Mazda spec. (If engine was a interference engine it would be destroyed)

Hey Mike! Thanks for the review. Now, I take some issue with this. 1. Talking to me about it... 2. If its happening constantly, I do believe it might be a communication error happening, as we really just dont have these issues. Its a "once in awhile occurrence" these days since we've hired a inventory specialist that oversees or now 20,000 parts deep catalog. If you are constantly, and consistently having these issues, I believe that the correct part might not be requested at the counter. Also... If it was happening so often, and constant, and you discussed this with me, I would believe that WE and YOU would be ever vigilant in checking the parts for accuracy before you left our facility. I welcome you to reach out to me to discuss this further.
I've worked with PMP many times, over several years, and have always had great experiences. I was able to pick up parts for Subarus, an Infiniti I used to have, and a Miata, though Subaru is PMP's bread and butter. There are several "nice things" about doing business with PMP, but if one thing stands out it's the knowledge. In my experience, if you got the wrong part, it's probably because you gave the wrong information, and Peter or his staff will probably catch that anyway. They earn their 5 stars and then some. Just for fun, I attached a picture of a bugeye wagon that I put together almost entirely with parts from PMP.
The staff of PMP Auto group has done a great job. The staff are so much helpful, hard working, professional and caring in their work. I am really pleased with their work. Thanks guys!..
This company does a great job. They always ask about any issues we may have and explain what services they will provide. We highly recommend their services.
Purchased a part from these guys via eBay, which was claimed to be fully tested. Part turned out to be defective. EBay would not stand by their guarantee due to the cact that I paid by CC. CC wouldn't cover used parts under their protections. Tried for months to get return info but PMP was unresponsive. Have since returned the part to PMP but have not received my refund. AVOID.
Purchased a part that I needed. Drove over an hr. Asked the owner you sure this is the right part? He assured me that he knows what he is doing. When the owner doesn't have a clue what is going on with his business it's a bad place of business. Talked to a worker and he as leaving due to the lack of organization.
Hi, Peter Here. I have been doing this for over 6 years now, and we only sell subaru parts. So yes, I know what I am doing. Do you think maybe you requested the wrong part? Did we offer to exchange the part for you (I know we did). How did you leave with the incorrect part without checking it? Or did you not even know what you needed, and you might have told us the wrong thing (Sounds like it to me)
As with all customers, if you somehow get the wrong part (We are human afterall) we offer to exchange it for the correct part, every time. Now I know your time is valuable, as is everyone's. But there's nothing I can do for one's time once they leave.
I have a great experience with PMP. Came here for a couple cosmetic parts for my Subaru and the experience was great. I highly recommend PMP Auto Group.
Dispute: Statement of events
August 22,2015 my son contact PMP Auto group regarding the purchase of a used stock engine. The owner of PMP, responded via text message (see attached) providing details of the engine including mileage, compression test/leak down test to verify integrity of the used engine. My son was very specific and asked on numerous occasions for the owner to verify that the engine was stock only. He verified the engine was stock and it is also noted on the receipt. The engine was then purchased by my son on August 24,2015. The engine was installed by Zach Sharpe an employee with Monroe Muffler Lancaster, an ASE certified shop. The engine began to show signs of failure 10 days after the installation. My son contacted PMP and they agreed to inspect the engine, see return receipt. Upon removal and disassembly of the engine, by a professional, it was determined that it was not a stock engine as specified and it did have modifications that were not compatible with the tune in the vehicles computer system. This is also noted on the return receipt as the TGV valve concern. My son immediately contacted the seller regarding his finding. The seller admitted that he does not inspect every engine in detail prior to selling them. He assured my son and our certified technician, Jennifer Gehman (please see attached credentials) that he would either repair the engine and or replace it at no cost. He has since revoked his offer and refuses to refund the $2500 that was paid for the engine. I contacted Mr. Donato directly and he basically laughed at me and told me "good luck at ever seeing your money again"
My son returned the engine on 10/15/2015. The owner is continuing to claim that this is a warranty issue and that the engine is outside of the original warranty period. The engine was installed by a certified ASE shop as outlined in the warranty instructions which inturn would extend the warranty to 60 days instead of 30. I have argued that this is NOT a warranty issue and it was fraudulent misrepresentation as well as deceptive trade practice on the part of the seller. Upon further investigation I have found numerous forums and reviews that this seller has a history of this behavior. Had the engine been stock as promised there would not be a service issue. The engine failure is a direct result of the misrepresentation by the seller. The vehicle in question has aftermarket modifications including upgraded turbo, high pressure fuel rails and 1000 cc injectors, the vehicle's computer was professional and specifically tuned to stock standards and any deviation from this would throw the computer into limp mode which in turn could severely damage the engine. I have filed a formal complaint with the PA Attorney Generals office and I would recommend anyone with a similar experience do the same.
Owner of PMP here... would love to go on record here and state a few things here-
I did not laugh in the customers face and tell her "good luck seeing that money ever again"
I told her that after looking over the engine and that we where lied to about the aftermarket parts, and the severity of the parts, that we would not be warranting this engine.
I even offered to repair the engine at cost, no mark up to try and put a happy face on this. They just wanted their money back. Which was not an option.
We did not commit fraud in anyway here. We sold her son a Stock EJ257 Longblock-
He ran it with the following parts-
Rotated GT35 turbo EWG
1000cc injectors
FMIC
Aftermarket Fuel System
Aftermarket Intake
Aftermarket header
Aftermarket exhaust
Anti lag tuning, with other tuning of course.
After running this engine for 36 days, Alex cracked the ringland on cylinder#4.
They believe this was because I sold them a defective motor, and has nothing to do with the fact that there's a GT35 turbo and supporting mods installed on the engine.
I disagree with this.
Thats why I did not refund them.
Alex's mom has filed a complaint with the attorneys general office, instituted a charge back on her credit card, and had her attorney send mine a letter.
We will of course follow all legal channels in resolving this matter.
Peter Donato
Amazing staff done their job properly. I am very much pleased with PMP Auto Group. Meet you again. Thanks!
Bought Some stuff from here off of Ebay, Good price, easy purchase, fast shipping... Will buy again
Vins in the description don't match the actual engine. It's a common issue from this seller. Be careful and verify before purchasing...
Ask for photos before shipping of the Vin on the engine and you'll be gtg.
I dont know where these other reviews are coming from but I have been dealing with Peter from PMP for years. No issues here. Fast service, Good Service, Good Parts. I think some people are getting a bit sideways with the fact that these are used parts, and not new ones.
I purchased a use engine a couple of years ago for my 2004 WRX Wagon, the motor had 63k on it. I had a garage put it in for me, the motor purrs and is smoother than my 09 WRX. I have no problem with this group. When I was there they where very helpful with questions I had.
I will be doing business again with them.
Pmp has always been good to me, Good Place, Good prices, tends to have the small trinket stuff you need or can't find.
Peter and Cole are top notch, These guys know their subaru's!
I bought a few suspension parts here, everything worked out. 5 stars.
I've bought lot of parts from PMP. They're always helpful, nice, and willing to resolve any issues I have. The owner is really nice when you are patient and know what you want, but doesn't have a very high bs tolerance
Thanks Amy!
Hi. Thanks for leaving us a review. 1. We power wash and clean all of our engines, so no matter what you marked it with, it wouldn't be there. You claim the timing was wrong, and the the head gasket blew within a week... If it ran for a week, then the timing wasn't wrong... you contacted us with none of these issues, you sent us a message about the crank pulley and we offered to fix it, you asked for five hundred dollars back, we again reiterated that we would gladly fix the issue. There are many issues with this review, but we will leave it at this. We warranty all of our engines, you declined our warranty, and did your own thing. We wish you luck.
