“DOESN"T GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS”

Mack P.

DOESN"T GET ANY WORSE THAN THIS. STAY AWAY! I got a Roughrider Ranch Invitation email from a mailing list that trusted. I thought it was legit and checked it out. (later, when I reviewed the email more closely, I realized the mailing list had been spammed.) I tried it out & created a profile. A few hours later, I started getting notification that I had received messages on the site. I logged onto the site and went to view my inbox for the first time. I could see the message headers, but when I tried to open them, I got a screen saying my basic membership had expired and I would have to pay to see the messages. I sent a note to support, pointing out that I couldn't decide whether to pay for the service if I couldn't see any of it. A few hours later, I got this: QUOTE ------------------------------------------------------------------------ From RanchMaster <*******@roughriderranch.com> To *******@gmail.com, Date Dec 13,2007 4:51 AM Subject Re: Contact from Roughrider Ranch User I don't work for you, or any other freeloading scumbag. Get off the internet. The world needs another freetard loser using it for free gay porn, and endangering children in the process, like it needs another George Bush. Your email has been forwarded to the United States Department of Justice for further investigation in their ongoing efforts to enforce section 2257 of the United States Code and the Adam Walsh Child Protection Act. Now, be a good boy, and use the URL located at the bottom of the email you're whining about to inactivate your account, then stay off my sites... ALL OF THEM. ------------------------------------------------------------ UNQUOTE Needless to say, I followed the instructions to deactivate my account but, seven years later, I'm still being spammed with message notifications. If you do a search on some of the text in the response, you'll find that what I received is a typical response to any inquiry into the site's policies.

Get off the internet.

The world needs another freetard loser using it for free gay porn, and endangering children in the process, like it needs another George Bush.
