Awful customer service, rude, threatening and harassing owner, stalked me on linkedin to contact my employer to complain for leaving a factual negative review. He insisted I abused his staff, my complaint was "It is ridiculous you do not deliver to PO boxes but charge my credit card first".
Accepted PO box on their online form (poor automated system failing to ensure addresses meet their own criteria). Charges customers, then demands a non PO box asking for work place address then cancels when asked for tracking.

Jacob, as you know your review is false, malicious and defamatory. Here are the facts. We are an Australian registered company (ACN 630 104 031) and have been in business since November 2018, longer than all our direct competitors. Unlike some of our direct competitors who do drop ship into Australia, we keep stocks of all phones in our Melbourne warehouse and every customer dispatch is ex our Melbourne warehouse. For your information the "similar name business" (Rugged Phones Australia) is actually a New Zealand company with no physical presence in Australia and they drop ship to their Australian customers via DHL. As Australia's number one importer, wholesaler and retailer of Rugged Phones, we do not need to masquerade as anyone else, nor do we need to piggy back of anyone's reputation.
For anyone reading Jacob's review, here is what actually happened. Without reading the information on our site (FAQ page) he purchased a rugged phone on 8 Nov 2022 and supplied a parcel locker as his delivery address. We advised him that we do not deliver to a parcel locker or p.o.box for security reasons and that we needed a home or work address for delivery. He then sent us an aggressive email saying how stupid that was and that we charged him first before telling him of our policy. Had he read the FAQ section, he would have seen our policy about deliveries to parcel lockers and p.o.boxes, as well as the fact that we do not drop ship.
Due to the aggressive nature of his email, management made the decision that he was not a person we wanted to deal with and it was decided to cancel his order and refund him, which we did.
To anyone reading all this, please take the time to read our genuine testimonials on our site, to see how we deal with customers. We sell to the public, businesses, companies, Shires and Government departments all over Australia and have an excellent reputation for looking after our customers. At the end of the day, if we didn't, we would not still be in business.
