We organized through Shippit for a parcel to be delivered same day 3 hour delivery window (adds an hour for driver to get here so 4 hours) and paid extra for this service - which is fine that suited our customers needs. When the parcel was scheduled to be delivered by 1:30 and the parcel wasn't picked up by 12:30 we got worried. Sent an support question to Shippit - WHICH WE RE STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM - 5 days later! And contacted the actual courier service. Who then tried to contact the driver allocated to our parcel. No he was not going to be here till after 3pm and it wouldn't be delivered till around 5pm! SO GLAD WE PAID FOR 3 hour turnaround. Called Allied Express back and SHIPPIT had only booked parcel as same day delivery "ohh they do that all the time to save money - charge you for our express service but only book same day delivery."
I was forced to pay for a taxi to pick up parcel and deliver it direct within our customers timeline - SHIPPIT's response is to not return emails!

The last 5 parcels have progressively got worse service with Shippit - 2-3 days after booking the parcel is finally picked up whereas other service providers have delivered the parcel in the same time as Shippit takes to pick up.
Best thing this company could do is stop taking bookings - then they could say they aren't the worst freight aggregators in Australia because at present they win hands down!

Dont use this site - stay away from Shippit!
