Purchased TaylorMade R7 Limited Driver 9/21/09 - 4/7/10 noticed the driver has a hairline crack on sole of clubface. Forward driver to TaylorMade for replacement. Driver returned after verification of serial number that it's countefeit. Emails forward to Shoponlinewholesaler customer service for procedures/address to replace driver -not response. Web site indicates a hassle free one year warranty. Unable to contact their customer service.
In my ignorance, I ordered an impossible to find discontinued new club, and after 3 weeks, it still has not come. I emailed the web site and never got a response. I am notifying my credit card company.
This site is an absolute sham. First of all, they advertise a low price on Google so I'm sure they get a lot of hits, but you can't actually buy the golf club for the advertised price. When I emailed customer service (btw they don't have a phone number) "Melissa" explained that it was a glitch and "then it is hard for us to change that." which doesn't make much sense in English, but you get the idea.
I think the constant misspellings on the website (and incoherent English) tipped me off, and then I found that other people online also posted that this is a scam. I just wanted to reiterate DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE!
I e-mailed the following complaint to Melissa. Reaction = zero
Dear Sirs,
Your website puts the reader under the impression that you are a renowed dealer. But to my own regret, I am wholly unsatisfied with the execution of the a. F. m. Order and product.
You shipped my order by EMS. GDSK processed the customs declaration and GLS delivered the merchandize finally to my home. Buying cif or c&f, what I did (free shipping), means that no further forwarding cost is due. (incoterms). This international term is obviously not valid if one buys from you. It became an expensive experience to buy from you.
But apart from that, it transpired that you sold a rejected club. Rejected, because the marking for the sweet spot is not at all centered (above the sweet spot). It is positioned between sweet spot and toe. You call that quality control?
Further, an (internet) golf shop of renown would never send woods without resp. Head cover. But you did.
I am rather sure that you will ignore this mail and complaint, as you did in the past, according to the motto: "who cares when I'm gone. I have my money."
But I assure you, if you will not give immediate attention to my complaint, Pay Pal and others will be adviced.
Sincerely
This golf discount site operates out of china and sells counterfeit golf clubs.(http://shoponlinewholesaler.com)
I bet none of the name brand equipment that is out on their site is authentic. I purchased a set of Callaway golf irons from them and got suspicious. I sent a club to Callaway Golf company in Carlsbad, CA and after it was inspected by Callaway Golf they were determined to be fake, replica, counterfeit. This site claims they sell authentic equipment but they lie and sell china, counterfeit junk. Unfortunately I found them on a Google search and they are ripping off consumers all over the world and hurting legitimate companies. I have proof. Callaway sent me an official letter to support my claim.
