Today, it's definitely fair to say Solana is faster and cheaper than mainnet Ethereum (although this is not true for Layer 2 Ethereum). But if Solana becomes more popular, won't that just drive up fees? Or I guess if you sacrifice some decentralization you might be able to keep fees down and performance up? But then why not just be on Ethereum Layer 2? I guess I'm just not quite clear on the long term vision of Solana.
