I highly suggest you take any and all business else where and if not, DOCUMENT each and EVERY INTERACTION. One cannot reach them and once one does expect to be yelled at, even with all pleases and thank yous in place. I suggest you know how to fix your own everything because you get shamed for calling in a repair, nothing of mine has been repaired and no one is available to contact. Once I had to prove they cashed a check of mine for rent, because they did not know they'd processed my rent payment. Its been downhill from there, run do not walk to a different place of business.
I lived for 6 years in an apartment complex that seemed clean and was cheap. HIGHLANDER APARTMENTS, located at the intersection of 164th and 36th Ave W in Lynnwood, WA. Managed by South Lake Associates in Seattle, WA. My address was *******, 36th Ave W, apt 103, Lynnwood, WA *******.
If you ever intend to live there make sure you document everything, especially when you leave. Make sure you make them sign for the final inspection of the apartment-or you will have to work hard to get your deposit back. I had to write a letter to the managing broker of the South Lake Associates, John Jochim, reminding him the article that clearly stated I should get my deposit back... well, he wrote me a letter telling me that the apartment was in less than perfect condition and I will not get my deposit back. I left that apartment completely clean-but they still tried to make me pay for the repairs that they did not do in 6 years-and for sanitizing the apartment for the new tenant.
Please make sure you check the law-or John Jochim and Jacklyn, the apartment manager will at least TRY not to give you back your deposit.
