I like this site because it is 100% free and offers better profile selections such as bi, gay, straight. There are forums, blogs, chat, instant messenger IM and a nice mixed bunch of members. They also state they have never put a single fake profile on the site so that is a huge plus. No credit card needed and nothing to upgrade.
