Design Hunks

The Design Hunks are totally useless!

They could not follow simple requests and when you show them exactly what you want they still cannot do it.

They charge a low price because they offer a low service.

On their website they state that they have 16,000 reviews on TrustPilot but when you ask them to show you the reviews they get aggressive and tell me that it does not exist, not sure why they display it on their website, this is false advertising and misleading.

Pay a little more and get a proper company who has decent real reviews to build you a website.

Hi Everybody,
This company scams people so instead of letting them go with our money, why cant we legal hire somebody to get our money back. There are laws that would protect us from such companies who trick people pretending they are in the country when they have no presence in the country. They are scam artist.

Before undertaking they showed us sites that would be indicative of our build.

What we received was a site that did not scale properly - the software used was not licensed and they were using stolen themes off free theme websites ( found this out by hiring another developer) and so many errors - not understanding what was conveyed. Big waste of $499 and lots of our time assembling the content.

Thought the price was too good to be true.

We closed our account and kept getting charges taken out, now we cannot get them to put money back although we did get email telling us it will take about 3 WEEKS never happened so have to report Fraud on Visa to sort it.

The Design Hunks are absolutely not professional.

They have completely stuffed up our website and email accounts -just one problem after another.

They do not respond to calls( call center passing on info, so no direct line).

I called thedesignhunks.com.au regarding no access to emails on 25th Jun 2019 and to date still no response.

The website hosting I use with them also manages the email accounts and they had an issue with their server that had stopped all emails

Working for 48 hours and when they fixed the server issue all of the emails were deleted, they could not get them back and we had important information.

I had contacted The Design Hunks back at the start of March for a simple web design for our cafe.

The task was simple, build a website that had 5 pages and a menu to display what we had on offer, sent through a few samples of what we liked to make it easier.

After we paid the deposit they said they would send us the design, so we waited and waited and received nothing.

I called them and they said they are still working on it, gave them another week, same thing than called again and they stopped answering my calls and emails, this is when I knew something was fishy.

So I googled The Design Hunks reviews and can see they have bad reviews online, seems I am not the only one who has had a problem with them.

Be aware of these people and do not trust them.

I applied for a website through the design hunks website, spoke with the chat person and he said they could build my website.

Paid the money via Credit Card. Was told I would receive the website designs within 48 Hours.

Received nothing, heard nothing. I tried a number of times to contact them.

No response. Emailed them no response.

The number on their website is overseas located in Bagladesh

This business is a SCAM. They are thieves.

They stole my money.

They told me they are located in Melbourne but are actually located in Bangladesh, just be careful and read all their negative reviews online.

I ordered a redesign of my website at The Design Hunks.

They debited me immediately and here we started!
After 1 month of useless conversations during which they tried to upsell me with different things - SEO, Video, etc. - I asked for my money back.

The main reason was the following: they didn't do ANYTHING during this month, they didn't listen for my wishes and comments and, finally, started blaming me for NOT ACCEPTING THERE OUTSTANDING DESIGN!

Immediately after I asked for my money back from The Design Hunks, they stopped communicating with me. Rear answers via chat that "Tomorrow you'll receive an email, Till the end of the day we'll sort it out, etc..."

Then they stopped answering me via chat, then emails, then phones! I had to chase them through the USA and still, after 2 months, I can receive my money back!

Guys, if you really want your job done - NEVER deal with these crooks! Find real professionals and honest people!
