Terrible... for someone who is suppose to know guitars this outfit is either incapable of selling guitars or is extremely dishonest in their dealings. I received a guitar that was suppose to be in excellent condition with no issues to find out when I received the guitar it had a crack in the soundboard and the bridge had been shaved about 1/8" to 1/4". I was told the person that owned the guitar before me was a luthier and took exceptional care... nobody that is a luthier is going to shave the bridge to improve the action. Shame on you Josh Sidman

Purchased a 1971 Martin D-28S guitar from The Parlor Knoxville. Prior to my purchase I specifically asked if the guitar was in good shape and asked to disclose any issues that the guitar had. I was told by Josh Sidman< the owner of the business, that the guitar was in "excellent condition and had no issues." After purchasing the guitar for $2300 plus $70 shipping and receiving it in the mail approximately a week later I noticed there was a crack in the top of the guitar. I immediately contacted Josh and told him of my concern. Josh admitted that when he was packing the guitar he also noticed the crack. But he never informed me of his findings. Josh offered to give me $300 off which I accepted. I took the guitar to my luthier here in Albuquerque and as soon as I showed him the guitar he immediately pointed out that the bridge had been shaven. This is done to avoid the expense of having a neck reset and is not a good thing to do because it also effects the sound of the guitar. I immediately contacted Josh and told him of my findings. At which time he said he had already paid the owner of the guitar because the guitar was on consignment but after some persuasion and voicing my concerns for the inaccurate description and the fact that Mr Sidman is in the business of selling guitars he should have been aware of the issues Mr Sidman decided to refund my money. However he refused to refund the shipping charges which I incurred which amounted to $70 plus the return shipping of $56.35 for a total of $126.35. I am asking for reinbursement of those shipping charges which I should not have to pay due to the dishonest description of the guitar I purchased.
